Fact:- He cuts leaves because cutting leafs before flowering make extra branches in it.this is called 3G cutting.3G bcz you have to cut it 3 times

I had a friend really proclaim to me that pickles grow in bushes.
I had to really explain to him that pickles are cucubers and pickles cant be grown.

Honestly if you ever grown a cocumber it spews out to all sides on your garden, it kind of can seem like a bush even if not a high one.
Also he has some different bread if a cucumber, a bit less suited for pickles more like this thing you buy in a supermarket.
Like my garden cocumbers have this sort of hairy mesh and the whole plant has those micro thorns.

Agreed, I once grew green beans and eventually as they started growing their vines started reaching for the tomato cage. Didn’t realize until then they need their own support stick/cage. Its weird how plants don’t have any eyes but instead they can sense nearby objects to latch onto..
@@erwina4738 i have beans too, around 1 month of growing its pretty big. I think the female flowers start to appear in around 60-80 days ?

How big has your cucumber plant been ? Can you give me some updates about your plants please?
@@karrotizhealthy I can. I grew like 10 cucumber plants and I got some compost and fertilizer and my harvest was in about 2 months after planting. The cucumbers were very delicious and fresh and a lot of them grew. I grew pickling cucumbers so they grew to the size of a pickle. The only problem is it was difficult to keep 10 cucumber plants hydrated cuz if you don’t the cucumbers will dry out. Also hand pollination is a big thing.

It's normal soil with some coco peat! I don't use any fertilizers

"Seed to fruit" you mean seed to vegetable fruit, because it has seeds like a fruit and it's just a vegetable!?

I planted a bunch of different seeds in one of my garden pits to see who would win. Carrots, cucumber, kale, beets, etc. only the cucumbers took over. I have huge plants leaf-wise and came here to see when I can expect some gosh dang cucumbies.

About to kill a plant just in a process to show how you crunch. Lol
You don't kill a cucumber plant by removing the cucumber. The cucumber is the plant's fruit, it is meant to be eaten so that the seeds are spread when you/the animal that eats the cucumber poops. 😁 You do kill root vegetables such as onions, potatoes, carrots or garlic when harvesting.
