Great video, but where did you get that book and what else does it have ive heard the cars came with repair manuals for just about every part of the vehicle which would help me tremendously with my car, thank you very much
Nice video, I was wondering how someone could use a modern/aftermarket steering wheel. Such as a Grant Steering Wheel. On a project car and have a classic/traditional steering wheel ring to activate the horn mechanism? Would such a thing even be possible, or would I basically trying to reinvent the wheel, and it wouldn’t be worth the time and effort? Thanks for any advice.
Dude that's a great question. Honestly I'm not sure. A lot of times builders just install an updated steering column to give them the flexibility. I looked online, Grant wheels have adapters for the horn. That would be a great video showing that build.
Awesome vid! Love the colors on it

I believe I just did a Google search. But sights like Ecklers Classic Chevy has some, but look for either repair manual or shop technical manual.
@DougABirnbaum thank you
Only part that needs clarification for me is whether the concave metal ring goes in with the center "down" or center "up".
Honestly I'm not sure... I'll double check the book but mine is really flat. I'll double check
Excellent thanks

Doug I noticed you have a hose clamp holding the turn signal piece what holds that in place. Mines is loose also. Is there something broke. Thanks
@@peteadams9466 yeah, not proud of it but there is a set screw to hold that cap in place but it doesn't work. So the hose clamp is plan B haha.
Good video but please hold phone horizontally to record next time . It's easier to see video that way .
Thanks again for the video .
Roger that! That's what I get using my iPhone haha!
