I actually still have a couple of grocery stores that still look like this in my area. They are specialty markets and are quite popular. We are lucky to have them.
I Don't Think They Had All That At Back Then...And They Were Probably At School...I Started Kindergarten In The Fall Of 1974...So None Of The Children Did Any Of That Wild Stuff...The Teens Just Had Long Hair At Most..

There was no such thing as barcodes and self service checkouts in those days & people were more civilised too compared to today's generation who have no manners and are very firery with staff and other fellow customers. Some people need to settle down before they go into a business instead of misbehaving and acting like entitled toddler's.
I noticed that not one shopper was wearing a t-shirt and a pair of flip flops. Today, however, one can see shoppers wearing tank tops, t-shirts, and flip flops all the time. Times have changed, indeed.
