You usually don't put such sudden rhythm changes in pieces like this, I think there's a chance this syncope might indicate that there will be new vocal songs in Xenoblade 3 that are being slightly referenced in this theme. All just speculation though. Everything else in this theme seems to be unique, which is also nice to hear, in its own way. The next video will be an epic song from Ys VIII, and after that follows a Xenoblade 2 battle theme. I guess the time where I didn't cover too much Xenoblade is already over, even if this game only comes out next month. This song was published on the official website and you could hear a section of it in the trailer. For those wanting to learn this without the sheet music: don't take every single note as completely necessary, there are some leaps that make it harder than it needs to be, even if it sounds better with them.
