Cate is brilliant. Same with DiCaprio. The magic is crazy. Even her small role in The Shipping News her and Spacey are amazing. She's brilliant is all.
@@ladies_man217. meet Joe black was great chemistry between him and the main actress. He is good actor so he got great chemistry with whoever he acts with
Her performance when Benjamin sneaked up on her while she was jealously gazing at the swimming young lady is spot on,the southern accent I think, generally she does wonders with this BB project

yeah its on youtube under : The Curious Case of Benjamin Button OST - Benjamin and Daisy ----like i said its slightly different wish they had this in the video on there
I don't understand why he would leave his child. Caroline didn't have the same disease that he did. Daisy and Benjamin known each other most of their lives you would think jw would have some type of respect and love for her. Smh
@Joey Style ARE YOU DUMB? Benjamin was 50 when Caroline was born. Although his body was growing younger he was able to be there for as long as he could. He left and decided to travel. All the time he spent traveling he could've been there. GROWING YOUNG PHYSICALLY IS NOT AN EXCUSE. If he didn't want to be a father he shouldn't have been having sex or used protection. Before Caroline was born Daisy asked him what is his biggest fear? He said he didn't want the baby to end up like him. Caroline WASN'T. He said "he was heading in the other direction" Daisy said WE ALL END UP IN DIAPERS. Benjamin was wrong. He left while he was young and returned because he knew what would happen. You mean to tell me you can give to war and almost risk your life ,but you can't raise a child. 🤣 He just didn't want to be a parent and he should have said that.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was released in theaters when I was 13 back in 2008. I didn’t watch it for the first time until just a few days ago at 27 going on 28. That’s still young, but it’s definitely been some time since this came out. This movie had beautiful acting from everyone involved. Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett had great chemistry. The main problem is that the weight of severity in the conflict behind Benjamin’s reverse aging making life too difficult for him to settle down seems canonically weak because his condition only affects his physical maturity, not his emotional/mental maturity, and he has family and friends who accept him love him just as he is. The short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald is an absurdist black comedy and satire, not a romantic drama, but Benjamin’s inability to happily settle down and maintain and sustain long term relationships makes more sense in the short story than it does in the movie. Everyone who encounters him throughout his life unfairly treats his condition of reverse aging as something that is his fault, including his wife and son. On top of that, his reverse aging affects him emotionally/mentally in the short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald. His curiosity, emotional/psychological maturity, desire to commit, impulse control, interests, and level of enthusiasm for life change with his age in the short story, too. In the movie, there’s nothing that could seriously stop Benjamin from being a good father to Caroline for 18 years by the time he has her with Daisy when he’s physically in his mid-forties to late thirties when you actually think about it. The fear of her physically outgrowing him within those 18 years are negligible, too. If you consider the fact that he’s physically somewhere between 45-late 30s when he and Daisy finally get together as a couple and have a kid in the movie,he’d be 20 at least by the time his daughter is a legal adult of 18. Yes, that’s pretty young for a parent, especially to those of us who are Millennials waiting longer to have kids, but not too young to not be able to raise them. What’s more, Benjamin comes back ten years later when he’s physically around 20-23 years old in 1980. He’s looks much younger, but emotionally/psychologically he’s still the same person he was with Daisy 10 years earlier. No signs of serious dementia yet, though it is possible that it could have been starting, and he just didn’t say anything to make Daisy feel better. It’s only when he physically reaches his preteen years that Alzheimer’s-like dementia seems to have seriously damaged Benjamin’s ability to access long-term and short term memories.

One of the best scenes. They're at the middle of the life..
The chemistry between them is something I haven't seen between Brad and anyone else on screen.
Cate is brilliant. Same with DiCaprio. The magic is crazy. Even her small role in The Shipping News her and Spacey are amazing. She's brilliant is all.
Mr and Mrs Smith, no?

“Wait, I want to remember just who we are now”
This movie is fucking master piece
This movie is an absolute masterpiece. That is all I can say.
This movie weirdly reminds me of Forrest Gump, I don't know why.
Same 😮
Because it talks about life, love, existential themes etc
Here, in 1967, Benjamin was 37 (Physical Age), and Daisy was 43 (but would turn 44 later in the Year)....
Cate Blanchette is simply a goddess. She's hot and intimidating at the same time.
Cate is gorgeous omfg😩♥️
