I know his song was written by Jake (on the right, also the drummer) about an ex that cheated on him around their 5 year anniversary. Not sure about their other lyrics though. I think that they just band together and write lyrics on their own experiences/worst ideas of what could happen to them. I sometimes hate that their lyrics are so sad but it makes them so much more real and relatable
