    In this video, I show you how to get several inputs from a user and store those values into an array! Just use the Scanner object to get several different pieces of input from the user and set each value of the array to each value the user enters (it could be a string, int, or anything).
    I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on how to get array input from a user in Java!

      I really appreciate this
      I realized my mistake when I was writing a program
      It is a delicate process and I forgot to do the second for loop

    You're seriously the best tutorial channel because you don't make a lot of assumptions about your viewers' knowledge.

    Never thought you would make another Java video. This is really helpful as I'm joining a robotics team soon that uses Java to code the robots.

    Dude I am SO glad you're back!!!!!! I've watched A LOT of your older java videos since I started a degree as software engineer. And your videos made difficult concepts so much easier to understand, that when I entered the college I understood it immediately thanks to you.

    How do u use if then statements in scanners where u want - if they printed "some word" then this happens.
    For example:
    System.out.println("Which direction are you from(West or East)? ");
    String direction = input.nextLine();

    if(direction = West) {
    System.out.println("North America or South America? ");
    }

    Do you think it’s worth getting a BS in CompSci / Software Engineering after already having industry experience? I’m unsure how much it will affect my career progression vs the experience in already building.

    • @alexlorenlee
      @alexlorenlee  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think it depends on a lot of different factors like how much experience you have, what your goals are, and your responsibilities/committment. I personally think coding bootcamps can be a great alternative since BS in CompSci/Software Engineering take a lot longer for similar results. I am grateful for my CS degree from college, but it's definitely not necessary for everyone to get comp sci job. It depends from person to person.
