I watched this when it was shown originally and even looked a few months ago to see if it were online so I could see it again after all these years. I didn't see it not until tonight. Thanks for putting it online.
Same with my dad farm work work then back to Gm motors . Paid farm off early 99 head of cattle and new tractors and trucks and more but died at 54 yrs old love my dad I learnt alot from him alot .❤
I love this movie but I was having such a hard time to find it so I could watch it and just as I almost gave up I looked on TH-cam and found this and it was even the full movie to thank you
Awesome you put this movie on; I watched this movie countless x as a young farm boy. I remember watching it the night it aired; I was fortunate enough that my grandparents recorded it on their betamax. It still gets me excited to this day to watch it and I'm 45. I still get a tingle when the music starts in the scene when the new JD 8820's show up.
I’m 45 and from the uk and I remember this on terrestrial television and my father recorded it for me and I watched it so many times, they wouldn’t show it on terrestrial television any more but growing up in uk and watching American movies like this and trucking movies really made my childhood.
Same here brother. I'm 44. I watched it with my parents when it first aired. My mom recorded it for me and i use to watch it all the time. Such good memories. I still get excited to.
Thank you SO MUCH for posting this! I lost my VHS copy years ago in a fire and have looked for years to find it again with no luck! One of my all time favorite movies! Thanks again!
I remember when this fist aired when i was a little boy. I watched it with my parents and my mom recorded it for me. I use to watch it all yhe time when i was s kid. Lol. Was my favorite movie. I dtill love it. I just recently found it on DVD and my mom got me a copy of it for Christmas. Im 44 years old now and still love it. Such good memories
I watched when I was a child, I was born and live in Brazil until today and I never forgot it, there weren't many films with harvesters and life on farms, today I'm 47 years old.
My great grandpa had this on tape and I never met him. But my dad told me he loved this movie bc he was a rice farmer he was the exact same as the old guy and he was always pissed like him
It's kind of cheesy, but it's just a fun, nice movie to watch and listen to. Seeing all the new at the time, old to us now, equipment is cool as well. And the kid from The Burbs is in it. lol.
Finally someone puts the whole movie on TH-cam
😂😂😂😂😂
straight up though
Great movie! Thank you! One of my all time greatest farming movies. I remember watching this on TV with my family.
Same
As a farmer great movie. When I was a teenager my dad was a custom harvester and I was parts runner for him.
@@deanwest7623 so corny though.
I wore this tape out as a kid.
OMG us Too!!!! Recorded it off the TV and played it until there was more lines then Picture!!!!! 😢
@@robwar2288 Me too! On a betamax

My dad and I watched this movie together. A true classic just like my dad. Rest up dad

They need to remake the movie where roger pulls the old 8820s out of a fence line
hell yeah
Too bad Wayne Rogers is dead 😞
Loved it!!! great quality I came here looking for the old documentary called “the 2000 mile harvest” and came across this ole gem 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
wait'll you see the upscaled version haha
I worked for Scott and Linda in 2003 and 2005. They were the original 2000 mile harvest movie.

Haven’t seen this movie in 20yrs and I just randomly thought of it so Googled it. This is AWESOME! Will be watching tonight. THANK YOU! 🍻

Very glad to stumble across this movie.. great daytime film ❤

I enjoy watching this movie!! Great for family!! Thank you!!
Man, they cut on some wet days to get some of their shots. Whew. Grain piling up steep in the bins, no dust out the chopper, wet tires. LOL
that's a good point...in all the x I've watched this I've never thought about it that way...and I'm a farmer.
Reminded me of my whole childhood. My Grandpa was no different than Walt, Cranky old farmer lmao
Thank you thank you!!!! While i still have my ole bootleg VHS of this I sadly have no way to view it.
Custom harvester Crew 1984 through 1988! We ran 16 John Deere 8820's It gets in your blood!
He wasn’t losing grain because he was going too fast, it was because he was running Gleaners.

I LOVED THIS MOVIE AS A CHILD.
God Bless are Framer’s ~❤~Amen~£7~❤~Amen ❤
Very Nice movie to watch.
Even though the storyline is fair predictive, it was still good to watch 👍
i always loved this film american harvest as i have it on VHS and dvd also
great video on how Men were ..how real work gets done
Such a beautiful movie. Also idk who you are but have a great day god bless
God Bless!
I’m Australian and did the harvest run for Brubacher in 2001 , good times, on rainy days there wasn’t a strip club we couldn’t find
Always wondered if he sold his custom business , why he couldn’t afford to buy a new 8820.
must have been sponsored my Deere...in a time when MF had been King...for generations!
I loved this movie!!
I grew up in Moorhead Iowa and my dad was a samll farm of Moorhead
53:40 My favorite part. Walt Duncan gets new Combines !!
I wish I was a rice farmer like him so I could be like that and drive machines like those beautiful combunes
Someone should remake this movie with new John Deere combines. Show the advancements from the earlier models to the later ones.
then it would be like "Mr. D this things sick it's got bluetooth!"
Or make it a real movie without the big green seeders and use a couple 9250's
@@joshdavis8495be just like @53:03 and up and quit’em all 😂😂😂
I been looking for this movie for years I remember this when I was a kid just couldn’t remember the name of it thank you for this
@@JimmyT995 I found it in Japan actually but yeh same story for me
Amen brother
I left dat cab many times while dat engine was a runnin
The DVD was simply a VHS rip, such a shame that no one has a master of this they can do upscaling from.
yup, best I have
i did post an upscaled version

Is Walt the guy who played Pierce on MASH?
NO he ( Wayne Rogers / Walt ) played McIntyre ( Trapper ) in MASH 👍
No he played Trapper John on MASH
My memory played tricks on me trying to find this, I remembered the combine being red.
Could you be thinking of Amber Waves with Dennis Weaver? They used red Massey Ferguson combines.
They need to re-make this movie with the 8820’s being the oldies.
Way better than half naked women running around and gins blazing everywhere ... Good movie
CAN'T .HOLD. ANY .BODY. PAY.
Someone should make the quality better, like Atleast 720p
it came straight from the dvd I have so best I can get.
maybe i can try upscaling
So was the 2 cousins getting married? Or am I mixing up characters
I think it be awesome if they would do a part 2 or something like that
Is there anyway I can get this on DVD

Thank you for this, I wore this tape out when I was a kid! Btw what to the original title of American Harvest?
This movie was so good when I was 8. Today it’s so corny after going on the harvest run.
Same here but it sure was great as a kid!
Wouldnt the boy and girl be cousins?
you think they could have got some 66 or 7700s or some early 7720 or 8820s with yellow tops not those junk 95s
Got to remember when this was made the 95s were not that old, just 20 yrs or so. Plus he was cash strapped.
They sure don't make movies like they used too and not with near as much detail
1k a month. 21 years later i was on a crew north of hays making 1500
Back whenn 8820s where new to the world.
Sort of ... These were the Titan 11's . Built from about 1985 Onwards . The Turbos came out in 1979
And being Green Tops .. Later still . The Black Painted Reels obviously not out yet
@@user-BioOrgFarms our ones got a yellow top
@@Chessdog79 The first Titan 11's had the Yellow roof. Went a couple yrs , then went too Green
brings me back to better times. With all the politics and people believing America is a garbage dump this just proves how wrong they are.
Bud light John Deere
Far as i know never watched it.
I'm crying.... getting old blows
Do you have / cant you put it in french? I’m looking for for a very long time🫶🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
