I find this so much more interesting than starcraft 2 multi. must have something to do with the excellent commentating ;)
I know it's way later, but it has to do with the fact that KW is a much better and dynamic game that SC2, and also the fact that people don't give up after one big fight and fight to the last unit, more or less, leading to longer and more action-filled games.
@@DarkDoomguy exactly this. KW really had potential to take on SC2 in the competitive RTS arena big time, but EA fucked it up like the retarded franchise-killing moneymongers they are
@@chavzone Yeah this franchise had so much potential. Even from a visual perspective KW holds up so well today. C&C4 looked like a backwards step towards the cartoonish when the peak of the franchise was really right here.
Yeah, sage engine really is pretty. Its a shame its been abandoned. Even if EA makes a new C&C game, its likely they'll use frostbite, which means no mods.
@@Razgriz_01 sage net code and game tick tocks been binded to the fps was a huge crap. looking great yeah sure... but performance wise on huge games was shit. the games where very fragile and had tones of desynchronization issues due to the binding with the clients fps/ hardware and then bandwith. in a fast LaN environment is stable if the pcs are strong enough... but this 30fpa cap is horrible.EaLA developer admit that! EA was milking then for new games based on reskin every year!. rushed as fuck they did the best the could.. still EA put the blame on the dev studio and shut them down many times under various names.

The Firehawk went heroic near the end.
Spartacus, I noticed that You often ignore beacons battle markers and beacons if You're already watching an action. Could miss something important that way.
About the video, though... I couldn't even imagine Worker and Dimitery coming out victorious after losing that base on the middle north field and getting pushed with MARV and lots of Behemoths... I think that Dimitery got quite a bit of luck with crushing all those Behemoths; if Xtremizer realized what was going to happen and moved them, the push would propably succeed, wrecking Worker and Dimitery's soutern expansion.
I appreciate your feedback, but I'm not going to flick around the map every time a battle marker goes off. It's just not possible in games like this where 3 things are happening at once. I do my best to focus on meaningful actions, but there will always be situations where something else happens that I can't realistically catch. A perfect example would be a set of firehawks strato-ing in somewhere and bombing (which happened a lot this game). I can't predict that without watching the deck all game.
Anyways, not making excuses, just explaining the realities. If I jumped around the map with each marker, it would be hard to follow anything beyond seeing it for a split second.
This is also a reason why I suggest that people watch the replays themselves as well. Especially if you watch players "thru the eyes" views in the replay.
That's right, just wanted to mention. I thought that if You're watching a match first time when making a video, it might be a good idea to jump to beacon if the action You're watching right now isn't going to end quickly. If You saw the match already, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that You better know which actions were important and which where not ^^

I think it might be too much. 5+ player FFA matches are packed with action, but also highly chaotic and random. One person just couldn't keep up with all the important strikes and events on the map.
Hey Irwe. I share Casto's concern here about being able to keep up, but feel free to send it (or better yet, post it on Gamereplays.org/kaneswrath). If nothing else, I'd like to watch it. :)

Would actually be cool if you'd cast it. I don't think chaotic is a problem, the action will compensate that.
