I am a huge fan of Stephen Sondheim, and The Company is a favorite of mine. Elaine Stritch, I think , did the best Joanne!! Please also react to Raul Esparza as Bobby in the 2006 Broadway revival of “The Company”. Raul’s performance of Bobby pulled on my heartstrings the most (of all The Company DVD’s I’ve watched.). Thank you very much!

I saw her on Broadway in her (I think) only lead role in a musical about the silent film era, Goldilocks, by Jean Kerr and Leroy Anderson. She had a very Elaine Stritch number in "I Never Know When to Say When."
