- Can You 2TC With EVERY Mermonkey? BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - here are three 2 towers CHIMPS combos that involve every 5th tier of the new mermonkey tower!

My opinion on all 3: (For black border CHIMPS)
Top path: Good tower to put alongside others, but id rather leave it at tier 4 and save 31k for something more useful
Middle path: Great DPS option, basically wins you the game, but saving up to it is a pain, as i think the tier 4 and downwards are not strong at all
Bottom path: Absolutely incredible, put 2 tier 4s next to each other and you got such a long stall time. Decent price, decent price, amazing utility. Best path by far

I personally think that the bottom path is the most useful, it might be one of the best Moab stalls in the game
its insanely useful. mermonkey in general changes strategies in a way that not all new towers will or can.
Especially since it has that exploit with Bloon Solver. Can beat BAD’s quickly and just stalls the insides

Definitely.
If track loops on itself, like some easy maps, then 2-5-0 is the play because you get more attacks off. If the track is shorter or doesnt have many opportunities to attack, then the seeking is better.
xx5 mermonkey and glord isn't the only combo because of the glord bad damage, its the only combo because 5xx glue doesn't get any camo detection, so round 95 overwhelms you (you have to rely on xx4's camo stripping property, but its only able to decamo like 100 bloons which is nowhere near enough for round 95). I still have a round 95 chimps save on logs.

Btw there is some kind of bug/feature with obyn that makes the popseidon and the tier fours ability infinite, MackanRules covered it, you can do some pretty crazy stuff with this. I think you should try something with it Isab.

Fun fact! The first "official" 2TC with Mermonkey was Carpet of Spikes and Lord of the Abyss on Logs! And the person who completed it was... me!

I think I’m the first person to do a 2TC with lord of the abyss and wizard lord phoenix. The map was resort.
2:30 they only banned him from 2tc because you can 2tc with every second tower and almost every map…. So it kinda floods the page with 2tc’s that aren’t really legit… it’s like we already know him + any tower gets a 2tc medal so lets just look at any other strat.
If corvus is so good, We dare you to 2TC with every T5 and T4(excluding bottom path village)

The 0-5-2 ability actually has better accuracy than the 2-5-0 (same number of shots just tighter spread) so I prefer the bottom for consistency reasons

2:33 The main reason is pretty reasonable. It's just cause if a tower can 1TC, then there'll be like 80 2TC's because you can just pair that tower with any other tower path and hero. There's a separate list for 1TC's (which is pretty short) and they're meant to be separate because they'll bloat up the 2TC with basically the same thing 80 times.
There's a competitive 2TC scene? Huh. I've definitely found my fair share of 2TC stuff on my own so I feel like I wanna check that out.

@@bobboomer5348 Idk, I think pretty weird. When Gwen got her Heat it Up buff, my first instinct was to buff as many 000 snipers as possible and see how far that gets, lol.
Fun fact, if you get every t5 of the mermonkey on the new map, it opens the wall behind it giving you more space for towers
Final harmonic and 502 biggest one sounds possible but insane to try
So, I actually did Lord of the Abyss and Carpet of Spikes about a week ago. I did it on Resort, with the spike in the square and the Mermonkey just beside it.
The one thing that I will mention about cross paths is that bottom path can also be buffed by other echosense.
Obviously it isn’t relevant to this video because you aren’t placing more mermonkeys but it does make a difference when choosing crosspaths otherwise

As a Coop Advanced-low Expert map player I've seen the Glaive Lord - 205Mermonkey combo about 9 times out of 20
Also Harmonic with superbuffed attack speed is so satisfying
Thank you for these strategies! I like the Lord of the Abyss one with Carpet of Spikes, since it's very simple to do and involves very minimal micro. I used it to get my very first 2TC today!

I feel that arctic knights power is held back a lot by the fact that it's balls don't bounce off map borders where popseidons do, so on a lot of maps you just lose all the balls.
I had a dream ISAB did a face reveal the other night.

11:47 see how it’s one-shotting greens? i think that’s a weird bug with echosense precision, it uses up its remaining pierce on bloons immediately if it can’t find a close-enough target to home in on
No the projectile of the mermonkey has 2 pierce, 2 damage but applies a really small explosion each time it hits a bloon. Because it hit the red bloon, the explosion did the remaining damage for the green bloon to pop

For the popsiedon comparison you shouldve brought more note to the fact that the bottom crosspath can hit camo even if the damage is map dependant camo sight without buffs shouldnt be ignored when comparing towers usefulness
You should try chimps with every tower, you have to use all of them, at least have one of each, shouldn't use corvus, extra challenge no hero

Challenge: Alt Chimpoppable 140
Basically it’s CHAD mode, but impoppable prices instead of half cash, but played to round 140.
It’s an easier early game in exchange for a much harder late game. Now that they added custom impoppable rounds for up to 140, it’s a very interesting challenge. Especially if you don’t yet know what the new ALT rounds 101 to 140 are.
MINOR SPOILERS: those around are pretty BAD.
When I saw the bottom path of Mermonkey for the first time, the Glaive Lord combo came to my mind instantly.
Yea between the radius and the dot explosion it seems like it was designed for glord

top path mermonkey is by far my favorite tower right now
I did Lord of the Abyss + Wizard Lord Phoenix, Popseidon + Sauda, and The Final Harmonic + Glaive Lord.
can you check out if top path mermonkey with its piece giving is any good with a glavelord?
also what tower profits the most from the stikerjones and mermonkey pierce buff?
from personal testing the only other tower I found that might be able to 2tc with final harmonic is sky shredder, but that requires some crazy micro to save up to shredder

I tried the Glaive Lord + Final Harmonic combo on resort, but I couldn't solve 95. Nice to see it can work though.
You just need to it be just out of reach of grabbing the moabs, ddts have a bigger hitbox

after testing i can confirm that (on logs) the 052 buccaneer and 205 mermonkey is not a possible 2tc

052 is better because the homing looks kinda cool
so does the harmonic's detonation also apply to bosses since it can't really lure the bosses like BADS
That intro did show exactly why I thought it'd be situational on if 2-5-0 or 0-5-2 is better for the Popseidon path.
I didn't think one path was definitively better than the other, I always thought it was more on what angles/curves you're getting the tridents to go

0:44 I think the reason it leaks is because the homing pops the zomgs into bfbs and so on so there is way more cerams and moabs to cleanup afterwards. So really I think yeah its not as black and white as if you are looking for pure damage and using all the pierce the 052 is better than the 250 but in this instance the 250 is probably better as you don't really get much free cleanup in a 2tc.
