This is honestly the best review I've ever watched.
Giving us the pros and cons but also giving solutions to the cons. Thanks!
This video is going to remain useful up until they stop making these helmets which is exactly what you want 😊

I wish the Mega Lifer came in more variety.
The Lifer can take several small impacts but one major impact will put a hairline or larger crack in the hard foam and not worth risking it again.

Great Review 🤘. The Matte Yellow Color is looking awesome with black & white t-shirts. Add a yellow G-Shock GA-B2100C-9AER and yellow/black Asics (Bruce Lee/Kill Bill Style) and the bee outfit is perfect 😆

Hey thanks for the great review, I got an s1 mega lifer on the way right now! Blood red gloss color. I’m going to a little careful when cleaning the liners. Hopefully they’ll last a bit longer.

I bought this helmet just because I needed a helmet but thanks for the cool review. I didn’t look for reviews before buying it. Also where’d you get that cool shirt.

    Nice review.
In my thoughts their marketing is a bit overhyped. Because its just a normal helmet a TSG halfshell will just protect as good as the s1 helmets.
But compared to a soft shell helmet (which are popular in the US) the s1 is of course waaaaay more protective.
I dont get why softshell helmets are so heavily used in the US, here in EU i have never seen people use one those not just skating, im also speaking about biking, ice skating, ski and snow sports and other sports that involve helmets, no one here wears them softshell helmets really.
I think thats again just an American thing haha.
Anyways the s1 is great and more people should pay more Attention to safety.

In some countries, soft shell helmets are banned from being sold, which would explain why there aren't any in the EU. Even in the US for example, in California, Softshell helmets or helmets that don't have any certifications can't be sold in shops there. Most states haven't yet banned uncertified helmets so thats why they're still sold
Also, Most TSG half shells don't have the CPSC and ASTM dual certs. In that way, the S1 beats them :D

30 year old American, I have honestly NEVER seen a softshell helmet in my entire life, like period. I had to Google what they actually look like because I didn't even know.

Either you're built different or that was a factory defect.

How is the sizing on these helmets work? Is it a one size but you select the inner liner depending on your size, I'm not sure if that's coreect

    • @downhill254skate
      @downhill254skate  3 ปีที่แล้ว

You select the liner according to your head size. Theres only one shell size
