This was such an interesting exploration of this subject, I watched it twice. I had a full diagnostic done on my eyes last year to obtain a baseline due to some symptoms I was having and it revealed I have tetrachromacy. It was a revelation. I understand that a diagnostic test is not available to everyone but I can offer some anecdotal examples that illustrate how tetrachromacy may manifest itself. My whole life I have driven those around me almost to the point of madness at my insisting that :"yes, that is green but it's not the right green". My taste in the colours I like to wear and surround myself with are very specific and can send me on hunt for something that literally doesn't exist. I have a vast nail polish collection, which is ironic since I have been a nurse all of my adult life and rarely painted my nails, but that is not the point. I buy every variation of a favorite color. To most people, it looks like for example I have 15 bottles of red nail polish -and they are pretty much all the same. To me, I have 15 distinctly different red nail polishes each expressing or creating a different mood, and, if I see another variation that appeals to me, I will purchase that one too, lol.
In the spirit of sharing, since I truly appreciate your openness, I am a (formally diagnosed) neurodivergent mother to (formally diagnosed) neurodivergent offspring. Although we have much in common, we all experience/perceive very differently from one another.
As far as the "clairs" and sensory perception go, I relate mostly to what you describe. I figured out when I was very young, that I perceived the world differently. I can best describe it as "all-sensory". I experience the world around and within me with all my senses all at once -which is awesome and all I know so I love it. The only drawback is it predisposes me to overwhelm. I view it as my natural perception and for the longest time thought everyone experienced the world and themselves in the same way. Years ago, I had undergone MBTI testing for a job (I have my opinion on this practice that I will not go into here.), and when I received my result: I am INFJ, it really helped me with the language to describe how I experience and interact with the world. Spiritually, I am fully experiential, and trend towards UPG more and more as I get older. Thank you for sharing and asking the thought-provoking questions. xo
EDT: I love your retrofitted hunter green-to-teal (on my monitor) top and the foxes on the buttons is the perfect touch.

Ah!!! 🤯🔥💚 You know it's a niche experience when you feel totally and utterly seen by a nail polish anecdote 🤣 That's EXACTLY what I mean! Thank you so much for this comment... it makes so much sense. And it's been so interesting because it's only very recently (in the last year, so even more recent than my autism diagnosis) that my family are *starting* to listen to me instead of coming from the usual "don't be ridiculous" perspective. The irony is not lost on me that I took this seemingly outlandish thing seriously, did the research, felt brave enough to express myself with a decent sense of surety (for me…about my OWN life!?) to my family, and then went "Uh, Dad, can you take this test?" and have it come back with a score that - when checked against other scores across the web - shows he is mildly colour blind. Not the first time I've 'guinea pigged' something for the family 😅 but it's also part of what lends credence to my own personal gnosis. I'm learning that it's about *my* experience, *my* knowing, for *me*… and I feel decently proud of that! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video, and I really appreciate your comment! 🐌🦊🐉 (And yes, the tendency toward overwhelm is REAL.)

I wonder if you would mind talking more about anything else you experience in terms of your eyes and sight? I've also asked a few times for diagnostics for my eyes, never quite being able to communicate what I'm experiencing or getting any answers about what's happening in my sight. (not seeing light correctly in the center of my vision, and needing to focus just off center to see a specific star for longer than a moment; seeing different color/color temperature with each eye - left is warm, with more yellow, right is cooler with more blue - a real problem when I'm trying to make art or take decent photos, because everything is the "wrong color"; I see little moving lights in direct sunlight focused loosely with a solid background like blue sky; occasionally I see prisms which was suggested as occular migraines, but never diagnosed; lots of issues with color being "tolerable" in varying light (dawn through dusk and then every bulb combination that happens throughout the day for example) and having one color of paint that's tolerable and I paint with it every time I move...
Anything you can say about any of that would be greatly appreciated!

I actually appreciate that you have nurodivergency and it is acknowledged in how your channel works. I am nurodiverse too and it’s nice to see tarot channels where that is a fact of life.

[Still watching but] thank you for pointing out the discussion of "clairs" in other videos especially in Rae's 54321 video, which I'd watched but had somehow skipped out on that part. Listening to that and you, here, has been helping me understand better what I think I'm doing during a tarot reading vs. other "psychic" experiences I've had. I think I might make a VR.

Ooooh i would love to hear what you have to say if you end up making a VR! I'm so glad you're deriving value from the video! 🔥💜🐉

This was a fascinating watch, thank you! I dont think I've ever heard of tetrachromacy before, that is so interesting & I can imagine a major potential discovery for yourself.
As for the sensory experiences, I have to say that I relate a lot to how you described yours - how playing or listening to certain music brings up images, scenes, moods, settings; how experiencing certain sensations in the body can bring about elaborate visions, light patterns, etc.
I'm personally not a fan of conceptualising our sensory experiences as clairs, no matter how "supernatural" they may seem to the modern mind. To me, it's all natural perception & ways of processings that perception, enhanced by the impact or profundity or sacrum of the experience itself, and the (altered) states of mind that accompany such praxis. I'm also more of a 'personal gnosis' gal, I suppose.

I LOVE how you put that and I totally agree! "...natural perception & ways of processing that perception, enhanced by the impact or profundity or sacrum of the experience itself, and the (altered) states of mind that accompany such praxis" - what's so useful about this phrasing/perspective is that it allows for deepening those experiences (like exercising a muscle or practicing curiosity) without making proclamations for or about the outer world/others. 🥰 Hooray for personal gnosis gals! 😈

This was super interesting. The case study was fascinating. Like you said, the question I would have is "How would you convey what you see with our cultures limited means of distinguishing color?"
Also, its clarifying for me in a way when you said that the 3 of disks is your 'gateway' card. I loved how you became the pentacle on top and her on the bottom... I often call the 4 of disks my Priestess Path card. So it makes sense for the 3 to be the invitation...
Love your top. It does match the Crystal Tarot. Glamour!! 😍
Answer: I believe that sensory components, for sure, apply when trying to internalize reality. Our senses play a role in HOW we conceptualize. It builds our mind, body, and spirit's interpretation. Some sensory components may be more heightened than others. All of which would go into the basket of interpretation, right!?
I hope I said all that in a way that made sense. 😵‍💫

I really like how you articulate that sensory experience is how we *internalise* reality. I think this is also why it's so important to emphasis that difference is GOOD - it's the same concept behind various diversity movements, including neurodiversity and socio-economic diversity and so on. Not perfectly analogous, but a point of inspiration and creatively much healthier & more open for everyone! 🥰
