Guests included David Morrissey (The Walking Dead), Griffin Dunne (An American Werewolf in London), Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th, Hatchet), Britt Ekland (The Wickerman), John Franklin and Courtney Gains (The Children of the Corn), and we also saw Michael and Jessica from The Grimm-Life Collective.
We also picked up a few pieces of merchandise, so watch until the end for our little haul.

A good tour around the Horrorcon, looks really good! For me £50-60 for an autograph is obscene. No way I would ever pay for that, even from someone I love! That is a horror CON! No issues with taking pics from afar, I guess the charged for pics would be a pic with the actor etc. That Halloween light is immense, when you showed those earlier on in the video I thought, I love those. That will look fantastic in the background of any lives you do.
We also went to horror con on the sat in Sheffield unfortunately we queued up to get some autographs and found out they only accepted cash we were gutted. It's ABIT pricey I agree with autographs but it was our first time. We ended up buying merchandise. Have to say it was a brilliant day and we will definitely be going next year. Great video by the way .🧛🧟
We never thought about cash only for autographs 🥺 This day and age with technology, you would think they had a machine at each table to take card payments. We are going to the 'For the Love of Horror' convention later in the year, but this time we will be hopefully getting some autographs as there are three guests especially we want to see. Had to save your video so can watch with hubby later. Its actually proved very inspiring as its given us some good ideas for items we can produce especially once our framing equipment arrives as we used to specialise in autographed memorabilia. Thanks so much for this inspiration ❤❤

You do right taking pics on the sly! 😂 To ask for £40 £50 £60 for an autograph or pic is pure robbery.
The actors have taken lots of money for their film credits, merch, etc etc, and they’ll be paid to attend the convention, so things like this is their chance to GIVE something back to the fans.
In 30+ years of fests i’ve never seen musicians at Donni, Wacken or Dynamo charging for pics etc, its criminal.

Many thanks for the kinds words and we agree, the money they ask now for a signature on a photo is, to an extent, scandalous. And when you factor in travelling costs, food, merchandise - it can be a very expensive day or weekend. We know people who have travelled far and had to book hotels for the night, so again, more added costs.
All that being said, I will pay for Adrienne Barbeau autograph at the For the Love of Horror Convention later this year and possibly that of Tyler Labine and Alan Tudyk.

Thank you 🤗 We actually booked and paid for this one, a trip to Lloret De Mar, TWO years ago, but because of the pandemic and everything trying to get back to normality, it just kept getting pushed back.
It's good to see you all had a fun time, not something I would go to see but I enjoyed the video guy's.

I love my Horror but as you say the prices are a bit of a p#ss take.I dont think theres anything wrong taking photos as you did,if they dont like it,they wouldnt allow photography at the venue.I think it would depend on who was there on how much i would spend for an autograph.Im surprised you didnt get Griffin Dunne tho seeing as you have David Naughton! That wouldve made a great double header😂
I was so so tempted to get Griffin's autograph. We had tried not to spend any other money during the day to begin with, but it just felt quite expensive the more we talked about it. We heard that David Naughton was to appear but had to cancel on doctors orders. Now that would probably have influenced me to get both of those guys signatures and a photo of the two of them together.

Manchester one is at the BEC arena? Where the heck is that? Is it the O2?
BEC is bowlers exhibition centre. Easily accessible from the 🚊 tram. Hubby is an ex tram driver so can be trusted.
I think it's wrong that they charge you for photos and autographs when it's the public actually put them were they are in the first place with paying for merchandise and dvds and cinema tickets to watch thier movies
I remember being put off travelling to London a few years ago when the cast of Back to the Future attended and the autographs were in excess of £100! It's scandalous what they do charge at some of these venues. Saying that, we are attending the For the Love of Horror convention later this year, and I really want Adrienne Barbeau autograph and a photo with her.
