Needs episodes 4-6; sadly Ian Carmichael died 2010, but I'm sure they could find someone else suitable. (Stephen Fry perhaps?) And make it as a TV series from the start, with the PJV as consultants (and material providers!). Not just for the fun films like Victor Victoria, but the ones that are hard to watch like Duet for One - and the odd failure too. Once again, this episode repeats that it's hard to realise the original was sound only!
Couldn't agree more✨… On one hand, The Parallel Julieverse' work should be seen by more people and Julie Andrews' story should be known by more people… On the other hand, I really LOVE Duet For One (1986) and thought this movie should be watched by more people……

Like the life story of the real person on which it is loosely based (though there's sometimes some denial of that). Probably some of J's best acting. (Hawaii too - another hard watch.) That line in DF1 - "Yes, I'm … a totter" startled me more than anything in SOB.
This was made in 1976. Victor/Victoria came out in the ‘80s. I love that movie, and it truly revived her career. In this series, I wish they’d featured more about her work with James Garner, her favorite co-star. They became good friends, and they each said in separate interviews that if they hadn’t both been married when they met, they probably would have gotten together.
