Something of note is that Tavern Meliodas' crit chance raises by 30% every turn he doesn't take damage (resetting when he does get hit), stacking to 3 times, I belive. Consider using a team with redirection capabilities and maybe Evade food to allow you to build up stacks.
Edit: Also consider the Grace of Flash if you intend to make use of his counter on early turns.

I feel like blue and green meliodas really need to have taunt to actually use their counters. Who would purposely go and attack them otherwise? With estarossa, Chandler, and Arthur you don't have have choice except to attack them. Just focus someone else on that turn and you are done. If a new counter meliodas ever comes out I feel like they will most likely put taunt on him
