I was chorister at Derby Cathedral 1952-1957 and have many treasured memories of this superb instrument. Thank you Jonathan for giving us a wonderful performance of this work showing this organ at it's best bringing back these treasured memories.
This is a magnificent rendition of a classic composition by Mozart. It would be anyone's privilege to be in the cathedral as it was being played by Johnathon Scott.
All you guys out there , we will be blest by this absolute magic , hopefully for years to come. I wish I was given this gift but alas not. All the bet to everyone
Outstanding performance!! Pure emotional roller coaster ride between angst and consolation with bold determination throughout. Mozart and Jonathan at their best! Thanks for sharing!! Bravo! 👏👏👏👏👏💐🎹🎶
A thrilling reminder of how the much-maligned John Compton embraced both the Romantic and Neo-Classical (and with very clever scaling for his extention work). And beautifully arranged/played, thank you.
Yet another visual and musical sensation by the incomparable Scott brothers. Mozart always lifts my spirit, and your rendition sent it soaring. Thanks so much for generously sharing your God given talents.
There are no words appropriate enough to describe the sheer thrill of hearing and watching you play. If Mozart himself were in attendance he would stand up and applaud. Thank you sooooo much for sharing your incredible talent with your many admiring followers. 🥰
OH MY GOSH !!!!!!!! dear Jonathan this must mean you read my comments asking you to play this masterpiece!!! you have blown my mind i was literally just listening to this and telling my roommate that theres not an organ version of this and then you just posted this!!!! i am so moved this was everything i hoped it would be i will definitely be buying your score of this if you publish it. thank you both so much for your continual efforts in brining all of us so much joy in your music. you both deserve to be knighted, highest honors to you ,please know you are my greatest inspiration!
Mozart's energy, the incredible power of the organ and the talent of Jonathan, leave me (once again) speechless while the final chord still rings in my ears. “After a piece of Mozart, the silence that follows is still Mozart.” Thank you Tom and Jonathan, thank you a thousand times.
I first listened to this piece while rehearsing my church organ for the Sunday concert with the chamade trumpets, spectacular and majestic to see it play and hear the organ so full
Mozart my favorite classical composer!! I had never heard this before. I'm lovin 'it!! A masterful interpretation, as always!! You transmit security, strength, energy! Bravo!! Thank you both for sharing this gift!👏👏💖💖
Mozart has never been my cup of tea, but this performance was so dynamic and well played. This one blew me away. Thank you Tom for your consistent sound and camera work.
Jonathan, you can hug Mozart in this version (and in the photo too) 😄 . Its performance is formidable. Congratulations to Tom also with the always beautiful images. 📸📽
Hallo! I am almost blown away, Masterfully played by a Master on the organ. I think Mozart would say exacte as I mean it. Thank you both B B (Beautiful Brothers) With Love from the Netherlands.
Мне казалось, что сам господин Моцарт присутствует в этом соборе, и смотоит на это великолепное исполнение. Моцарт - друг моей души!! 25 - я Симфония - в ней весь Моцарт!
Simply wonderful, exciting! If Mozart could hear, he would certainly applaud! The video is also great, very well done with many details of the Church and the organ (I love details)! Congratulations on your exceptional performance! Thank you both for everything!
Fine Mozart. Rivals his playing of the 40th. Symphony first movement in Taiwan. (Note Jonathan's pose on the Title screen. It's right off one of the posters for "Amadeus"). As far as I know there are no organ versions of Bruckner Symphonies. Johnathan could do it. (Bruckner was a great organist too). From Chicago, U.S.A.
An amazing performance: many thanks. Just goes to show how Comptons became such a significant firm of organ-builders. I can't be the first on here to wonder what the other console was there for? Some sort of misguided attempt to introduce an electronic? Hopefully not!
I'm not a big fan of Mozart and I wish Jonathan would give more time to Renaissance and Baroque composers but having said that this is still a fantastic performance and the organ has a wonderfully English sound. Of course the next time Mozart is the subject matter may I suggest St. Bavo in Haarlem or Salzburg Cathedral.
Good composition. Either way despite I don't like reformed churches as they are sober and far from the baroque rococó magnificence, at least the pipe organ looks good 😂
I know pretty well that Henry viii didn't found a real reformed church ,but the doctrine is purely calvinist. then of course the crucifix, the images etc remained but even st Paul is far from a normal central european baroque church.@@epincion

Move over, E. Power Biggs, Virgil Fox, Michael Murray, Diane Bish, Oliver Latry et al. There's a new all time greatest organist in town!
Truly left me in awe. This is splendid
Magistral interpretación!!!
オホボエの音はそっくり。一人で演奏とは驚き、オルガン凄さを見せつける演奏で鳥肌が立った感動ものである。

Nobody realized that Jonathan's image with the arms opened is a tribute of Amadeus movie?
Outstanding performance!! Pure emotional roller coaster ride between angst and consolation with bold determination throughout. Mozart and Jonathan at their best! Thanks for sharing!! Bravo! 👏👏👏👏👏💐🎹🎶
Love it! And nice little tribute to Amadeus with the spooky hands!
A thrilling reminder of how the much-maligned John Compton embraced both the Romantic and Neo-Classical (and with very clever scaling for his extention work). And beautifully arranged/played, thank you.
Absolutely incredible. How I wish to see you play live one day.

Exactly. When it's over, and you think about what you just heard and still get chills thinking about it.
This is stunning.... Once again you've slayed the dragon 👌 👍 ✌️ 🧘♂️

Super cool Jonathan. I just know you get some injury from the post. I hope you get well soon and have no issue to play the goddess song.^^
Mooi hoor. In Nederland worden bij concerten niet vaak soortgelijke transcripties gespeeld, jammer.
Wow just had the first few minutes and was struck
An amazing performance: many thanks.

This was written by a 17-year-old. Let that sink in . . .
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏😀😀😀❤️
A nice interpretation! Next time Symphony No. 40 in G Minor? :)
He has done this (the Allegro Molto) on the Flentrop in Taiwan - its uploaded on this channel
can u do 1st movement of piano concerto no.2 in d minor k.466 ?
I'm generally not a Mozart fan, so I was prepared to not like this piece. But, the power of the pedals saved it for me.
oooo... big spook.
