For anyone wondering why swordbill does so much damage, it's actually really simple, the whole command is a finish command so each hit has the Finish command damage multiplier and just shreds anything and everything
@tsyumamatsuthehavenofguard32 It doesn't explain how it doesn't crash on bosses like Terranort in Radiant Garden. That boss has the most health in the game and it still doesn't crash on you.
@@hypernovagamingstationmysterious figure in particular has a high tendency to use renewal barrier very quickly when hit with multi-hit attack/finishers. Swordbill do damage for every frame so when it hits the renewal barrier over and over again, the HP recovery overflows beyond his max health and the game didn't account for that. More so on bosses that just reacts too your attack during a slow down frame. Terranort doesn't guard immediately if you hit him while he is in his attack animation during swordbill, he can't shift into guard quickly.
Just so you know: Mysterious figure is programmed to skip his first phase immediately and doom spam if you have too many cure commands or elemental movement modifiers like fire raid or blizzard dash equipped. It’s insane.
I wish they kept Ventus as a lefty. I already have to deal with being left handed for video games, Link no longer being left handed and not knowing any other character that’s left handed. Ventus was my only hope and they stabbed that hope in the heart, slapped it in the face, kicked in the boingloings, then said skill issue
@@Themoo_atcowsthey may have just forgot for 3. Especially since Roxas is also in that game and right handed. Nomura, buddy, you're at fault for this.

Like i remember struggling in this fight because i was a dumb teenager when i played this game and had now idea what i was doing and this just brought me back to that time. And that nostalgia kick is the reason why i am actually bingewatching your level 1 runs. Keep up the great and funny work ❤
you can completely cheese the final Vanitas fight. rush in immediately before he does that flame pillar move. do two hits then stop and he’ll attack with a slash block that then two more attacks he might teleport but you can easily block those. then when he’s done doing his teleport attacks he’ll do his flame pillar move but you can just attack him and stop him. then he’ll do his slash attack. and this is a pattern that he’ll always do nonstop. but if you run away from him he’ll do his other moves.
Or just use Tornado, for some reason he is susceptible to it, and fun fact on PSP version where Zero EXP was giving 0 Damage Bonus (and yes it's as painfull as it sound) the Tornado fix damage was the best way to beat him at LV1.
2:00 they knew each other since they began their journey for real, and experienced losing their friends, so yeah, even if you don't like your bud, you'd still stick with him since he's the only one who knows your pain.
I remember the first time I played this game...didn't know the suggested order of characters was actually the game _telling_ you to play it in the order presented. So I played Aqua first, then Ventus, then Terra. I regret nothing. Will proudly wear that weird label because Terra's playthrough honestly drives me crazy XD Lol. 10/10. Will play the Tarintino order again when I get the chance to revisit BBS. :) Ok, now to actually finish watching this video. I had to defend my honor as a weird gamer lady. 😂😂😂 EDIT: This video makes me want to play BBS again. It's a really fun game and seeing the resolution for this trio of characters in KH3 was so powerful for me. They all went through so much and I imagine revisiting the game now knowing that resolution is cathartic. Thanks for sharing the Level 1 experience with us. Best wishes and God bless you.
Yeah when I played I chose Ven first cause he was whole we did the tutorial with, then Aqua cause I like magic then Terra. I think knowing terra's whole story can kinda ruin the story beats in the other two cause they're sitting doubting him wondering if he did evil and we already know
@@CaityRaindrop I agree. With Aqua and Ventus doubting Terra in their stories, playing their campaigns first builds intrigue to a degree. You get an idea of what Terra has done and discover that Xehanort is the mastermind behind Vanitas and Unversed, but you don't necessarily know why those things happened. Aqua and Ventus have a campaign that's focused more on Vanitas as the final antagonist while Terra is the only one to face Xehanort. In some ways it's more impactful to save Terra for last, especially because his story answers the questions Ventus and Aqua have in their stories. At the same time though, I definitely understand going in the suggested order too because in terms of gameplay...sometimes you just want to get Terra out of the way. XD lol Anyway, if the game gives us options on what order to go in, we may as well choose whichever order suits us best. :)
Its a rather lesser known fan theory, but did you know that some people belive that KH Cloud and Sephiroth are the Nobody and Heartless respectively of Zack Fair?
This was the first Kingdom Hearts game I ever completed at level 1 just because I could get things like second chance and once more. I even collected all the Xehanort reports over again so I could unlock the final episode and then play the Fragmentay Passage episode. Terra was a pain, Ventus was cake, and Aqua just camped and won.
Cheers for another miserable challenge. Going to say you didn't miss much not doing Armor of the Master, Iron Imprisoner 4, and NoHeart since they actually feel way easier than Mysterious (Obviously but it's a bit of an anticlimax). If anyone fusses about you not beating MF on other characters that means that they flat out haven't done it themselves. It's always the part I dread when I'm doing another big run. Cheers for using the ONE TRUE NAME for Red Eye. Despite it not being well documented if it is even at all, he just is flat out immune to a number of some of the best, and worst for some reason, commands or attacks in the whole game and Ignite being able to smoke him so hard seems more like an oversight in programming. Speaking of Programming, depending on the port you're playing on against him he can flat out slow down, crash, or stutter and lag the game! Love that scrub though. An extremely solid run
The Terra slander continues, a real shame. Terra is only a man who simply wanted his father's acceptance. Also people who don't like playing as the strong guy with the big weapon is an op.
I'm currently playing through Terra's story on Critical with leveling not level 1. I watched your videos and thought they were sick, your strats are really cool. Run's going through pretty good, I'm still earlygame but like it's not too bad. I beat BBS once all the way through on standard and had a decent time apart from some bosses, but crit seems kinda rough. I love breaking the game with silly commands at least. Thunder surge is always best girl!
Man hearing the first few synth beats of MF's theme gave me PTSD. I remember how hated this game was upon first release in North America, and in fairness the version of MF we got in the PSP was a significant reason for that. His fishhook had an insane hitbox, ran forever and he would chain it into other attacks that the game registered as being part of a different, new combo. Once More and Second Chance did NOTHING. I died SO MANY FUCKING TIMES BRO It's the only move they outright altered in the remaster. Good FUCKING RIDDANCE.
man besides level 1 u can use everything at it's disposal and level it up. so commands, shotlocks, ability commands, finishers, able to get abilities (which i'm divided on for other kh games. like sure it is a level 1 run so it somewhat defeats the purpose of getting those abilities. but even so i wish u could. especially cuz even with those abilities it's still hard) and able to level up d links. which is HUGE

Call me weird but I did do Terra last. In my experience with kh I went through kh1 and got stuck at the end of the world.
