Warriors forever. You could level one of each race on each faction and start a new server and do it again. Using first aid to survive between pulls in the Wetlands, hamstring kiting, MS/Overpower crit combos, charging into a mob to avoid fall damage....what an immersive and fun and best class.
Every upgrade you feel the power spike, especially with a weapon. So many ways to buff melee damage. Unstoppable killing machine with a healer. It's a fantastic time.
For classic? Hunter, I love everything this class does. From buying ammo, to taking care and training your pet, being able to switch from ranged to melee when needed, being able to basically equip any weapon, fucking over rogues It's great
I went back to Classic and actually couldn’t stand how much micromanagement the Hunter had. But for those who like being rewarded for prep, oldschool Hunter is absolutely for them.
I always level Warrior because they're the hardest. After leveling my first one, experiencing the feeling of accomplishment after defeating a hard group quest solo, popping every cooldown swapping stances and weapons, and only scraping through it. Having to save old gear because of special use abilities. The importance of crafting and the great pride of wearing armor I mined, smithed, traveled across the world for a recipe, and finally crafted. Leveling a Warrior in Classic is a test of endurance and planning, and I can never go back because leveling anything else feels like cheating.
It's warrior for me too. People say they are boring to level. I actually think they are the most fun and interesting. Melee in general is just much more dynamic because there's so much more going on while in combat AND you can MOVE while attacking. Casters have to spend so much time just standing still watching long bars. Holy crap it's boring. Additionally, rage is easily the most interesting resource to manage. Energy increases at a linear rate. With mana you learn a proper efficient rotation considering spell cost and 5 second rule and just repeat over and over. Rage is once again, dynamic. If you miss you don't get any. If you crit you get double. If you're out of combat and have some rage pooled you can pop bloodrage to prevent rage decay for 10 seconds. You keep on the look out for critters to charge to also keep rage up while running in between mobs. Then you have overpower as a reactive ability that you never know when is going to pop up. A little thing like that can add just that little bit of excitement to keep things from getting tedious. Additionally you have different stances which is whole other can of worms in terms of dynamics and variety. And lastly the gearing process is much more satisfying. When your warrior starts getting better gear, they legitimately start to look cooler and cooler. I really can't say the same for a lot of other classes, especially the clothies. And getting new gear, especially weapons, makes a noticeable difference in terms of your power. What happens when you get a sick new blue staff as a lock or mage? You get some more intel and stam. Wow. The feeling you get when you get Cruel Barb or WW axe as a warrior is almost unmatched for a lot of other classes because warriors depend so much on their weapons. I hate how fun warriors are to play because I wish I could make another class for some variety but I just always want to make another warrior.
I played a Warrior in classic. I think if you want to get super-rich in classic you should pick between mage, hunter, warlock and rogue. I may be missing some class, but these 4 all had broken as heck solo gold farm options. I might lean toward the mage simply because it has so many places to grind in that are reasonably profitable. You don't need to go to the ''best'' area all the time, because you'll make so much gold anyway. In actual vanilla I did play a gnome mage called Logics :). I was just a kid so there was a lot of content I never did. I did some minor raiding, mostly with alt groups in the guilds my brothers were in. I do remember clearly when I was there killing Thundaraan when one of my brothers was completing his Thunderfury.
Warlocks just don't work for classic. Unscaling pets means they are little more than token summons, really squishy, need stacked gear to get +hit with destruction spells, can't use dots in raids. I love it solo for the affliction multidot challenge but my god for grouping it is horrendous, soul shard farming is the worst.
@@jfkdidntlos791 For many people endgame raiding is the only thing they care about, but yeah that mindset just doesn’t work for Classic WoW, where the game starts at level 1.
warrior is the most satisfying for sure, gear matters way more so every gear upgrade is pure dopamine, the fat hit sounds, unlocking talent abilities, even getting a ding is so satisfying, u crave more power the more you play, easy to learn but it gets more complex... such a dopamine filled journey all the way through. and then u hit that max level and you get the best looking gear in the whole game... and it,s my favorite class to rp in any game.
1: rogue perfect world pvp and 1v1 class, stealth, CC, perfect class to fuck with people and i love the idea of ninjas and assassins 2: hunter super fun in world pvp and BGs with huge ranged burst and kiting ability and a pet. also a class that feels really satisfying 3: warrior love the huge damage in battlegrounds and i love plate armor and 2H swords but since warriors are worthless in 1v1s i could never main one

Priest leveling is monotone but efficient for the most part, usually I would pick lock or mage over it any time but I really want to melt faces this time when fresh releases so spriest it is.
Mage is fun because of… conjuring food? I found food conjuring while leveling so tedious and unsatisfying. You’d be out leveled for the food, it’d take mana to make, so you’d have to drink some after making it… very unsatisfying imo.
@@EnProto Currently hating this in classic leveling a mage. I'm at level 24 and I'm considering switching to a warrior. @@Adamchevy mage was much smoother leveling in BC and LK than it was in vanilla and classic . especially when you aimed shot/multi shot blast away mages in PVP. I did that with my nerubian slavemaker and my god, so much fun.

Warriors arent worthless in 1v1, they just have weak match ups against certain classes (Mage). They eat Warlocks, Rogues and Druids for supper though.
