Just finished watching it, it doesnt really resolve itself in a satisfactory way and leaves more questions than answers. I enjoyed it but i feel confused as to the what we as an audience are meant to take away?

You left out the questions of how Hanna plays a classic Game Boy in the dark and how the Game Boy's batteries never die.

I knew of the film, before reaching here {first time on your channel, so you can thank the film for this}. I was hoping that you would discuss the ending more {in some spoilery section}.

This is one of those movies that I was over talking about it before I even started. Haha. Lazy movies make me feel lazy talking about them.
Was really disappointed with this film. Didn’t hear anything about it. Was just searching through new horror movies online and came across it. Sounded like a great watch. The beginning had me excited. Loved the actresses and the plot. Then it just kind of went nowhere…I agree 100% they had so much to work with, but failed to do anything with it. I was hoping you’d explain the ending because Idk how the hell it even got to that point…or if any of it was even real. Just kept waiting for Hana to snap back to reality and gain strength over her agoraphobia.
When you 1st started describing the movie Lawnmower Man popped in my head.

The overall editing of Latency was also VERY bad IMO... It can be effective to show events out of chronological order or to skip events for a big reveal at the end, but I felt very out of the loop for most of the movie (because they made it unnecessarily confusing ) and the reveal wasn't even worth it... There's a better decent movie hidden under what we got... A movie that did the twist of being in a room but it's actually very filthy was The Voices with Ryan Reynolds
Latency jerks the audience back and forth with plot points until we cease to care focusing on the wrong things at the wrong time
We care when we relate and it's hard to relate to cutaways and confusing events that may be real or not
Voices is a very cool film
The movie was not what was advertised. The advertisement seemed more like a horror/action movie with a cool concept, and the trailer looked cool. The trailer was not this movie, really. Hannah is a weird and somewhat annoying... It isn't an action movie at all. It also doesn't thrill enough to be a thriller. It isn't scary enough for a horror... It is really a weird drama. The trailer seems like it is from a different movie

I have a movie recommendation. It’s a 90’s Thriller called “The Untold Story.” I think you guys will really dig it!
I did not feel the movie was bad. In fact compared to other triple a movies it is worth it. I also feel it was supposed to be more of a Psychological thriller rather than a Horror. It can be easily interpreted that she has been dealing with her phobia for a long while. Like when the dude drops off the package and he seems to know her but is very impatient. Just my opinion but it seems she is having a mental breakdown when we come in the picture. the vr, games, the girl are all part of the break down. Killing her friend and even the ending could just be what her mind is seeing. Which i believe is really the whole point of the head ware she is given. that is not real and though she wants to escape her own mind she cannot.. just theory here until the director and so on say different. I would say, watch it again and maybe you will see what i am talking about.
I was looking to see if I could go see a movie this weekend and I saw this movie listed. I was not sure I would go see it, since I had not heard anything about it.

I mean some movies are still killing in the box office
movie theaters are doing bad this year but that is mostly due to lots of people being broke this year. this could make studios smarter and in turn next year we see less movies with INSANE 100s of millions dollar budget. studios may actually realize several movies on smaller budgets is a better business model

I don't know why they down played Jen's lesbian feelings for Hanna. There literally is only one kiss on the cheek and Jen's double entendre regarding playing with balls. I really thought there was going to be a love scene, during the tournament, but it never happened. Was Hanna supposed to be clueless/oblivious regarding Jen's feelings for her or did Hanna just not have the same type of feelings for Jen or both?
