You shouldnt underestimate that you get tracked way less with Hardening, wich can safe your ass sometimes.

Hardening effectively "reduces" your opponents dpm if they don't hit the breakpoint of killing you. It's so OP, and very worthwhile on tanks that have an equipment slot to spare!

If they make the cupola of the E5 the same as the M48 patton, which is just shorter but still pennable, This tanks would be perfect. you can actually feels like you could poke ridgelines without having to wait for an enemy to fire.

Hardening also has an intimidation factor. People are very likely to just take a shot if they know they can finish you off. But now they can't reliably finish you off so they hesitate.

I used to play the E5 with Hardening, and then I realized that I want to peek & snap, not stay still even the slightest that can lead to a well aimed shot from the enemy.

Hardening is more useful than people think, it adds hp to your tracks which means, it can take more than one shot to damage your track to the point of needing to use a repair kit (depending on the original track hp and what tank is shooting you) also adding overall hp to the tank. So more tank hp and more track hp means you can survive longer in a brawl before tou need to you need to use a repair kit. Combine that with a rammer and vents then you can fire quicker, last longer and do more damage than the unsuspecting enemy expects.

Add people Spam a lot of good rounds nowadays,I'd say wg should either make the e5 cupola small(like M48 Patton)or they should make the e5 cupola strong (when it was kinda op).Other than than a bit side armour buff as well.

Hardening is useful until arta enters the fucking battlefield and 360 no scopes you from their spawn

I love E5 even tho its very much a hit and miss. When you play well and RNG doesnt help shitters to always hit your copula it can be insane.

E5 vs S.conq? I don't understand the E5 phenomenon - the weak point in the size of the second turret completely destroys this tank. And you can't play glued to the building all the time so as not to show the bottom plate and hide the second turret. Even tomatoes on tier VIII can penetrate this tank without thinking or aiming.

i think e5 need some side amor to avoid overmatch by 152 or 155mm gun
