Me remembering nearly all the bags from the jag collection in HIDUPZ other apartment on the dimond tray.. I think i watched that video like 40 times. Purse collection goals..
100% agree do not use someone else’s SA. I moved to another city and asked my friend for their SA and went in and we did not click at all she was much older than me and never returned any email or text message’s. Then went in to the store the day she told me she was working and she was not there . Then went to the manager and very kindly asked if he could pair me with SA. He chose he perfect one someone similar to my age !!! & I could talk to him for hours!!
Thanks for giving an advice in Hermes journey. I’ll be visiting soon to Paris and can’t wait to get some stuffs from Hermes. Just a bonus for me if I can get a bag.❤❤❤
Such a great video I love the suggestions, amazing tips. I agree with you about the sa information, the treatment can vary depending on the relationship between you and your sa. My husband tried to ask for a bag for our 15th anniversary he knows how much I love bags, and the sa wasn’t helpful at all she told him he has to wait 3 years to get one so I guess it depends. However I scored my first B after a few months of building the relationship with my sa. Thanks again for sharing all the do’s and don’t. I will try to get my husband a RTW piece next 😊
Thanks Gisy!! Congrats on your B!! What spec did you get? 😍 and as for your husband asking, was he asking your existing SA that you have a relationship with? 😮 I agree the hubby trick may not work miracles 😅 especially as a walk in with no purchase history in high competition stores. I think it works best when you’ve hit at least the prespend threshold and have built somewhat of a relationship with the SA and the hubby is asking on your behalf, or in Paris after some sort of purchase history. Glad it worked out for you though with your first B!! 😍💕 sometimes we don’t need the hubby after all 😉
@@janeshappyplace3687 Thank you so much for your response, I just saw it. I got a Birkin 25 Rose Sakura swift PHW, it was a dream come true. We tried to reach out to my sa to get my anniversary gift, she had promised that around February or March she could have something for me. However I texted her asking for some sandals to see if it was okay to share her number with my husband and she didn’t reply until three weeks later, so my husband decided to go to Georgia Atlanta location, He is in the US Army (closer location to him) and he didn’t have the best experience he doesn’t wear any luxury brands, he wears Ralph Lauren and sneakers. The location was empty when it comes to stock, but they could’ve been more welcoming they told him to keep working with his other SA, he doesn’t have any purchases history but they didn’t even ask to check. He was just trying to surprise me you know. Long story short I got a message from my sa saying she had a mini Constance mauve Sylvestre RGH after those three weeks and back to you comment I guess I didn’t need hubby after all 😉🤣 by the way I love your mini Constance 🤍
being open to leathers is a good idea but most times one can’t really be choosy as to what leather the offered bag will be, esp BKC.. unless it’s a la carte.. kelly sellier rarely comes in other leathers but epsom.. and one has to decide if willing to wait longer ( even years) to ever get offered similar specs but different leather).. tfs
Hey Shirley! Thanks for taking the time out to comment :)! I definitely agree with you that it's hard to choose the leather you want at H esp BKC. Sorry for the confusion 😅 I might have not worded it correctly but I was trying to say being open to try different types of leathers, not just for quota bags or bags but even in SLGs! As for quota bags I was hesitant with my swift constance offer at first since i wanted epsom but ended up pleasantly surprised and glad I opted for something different. :D If only we could choose the type of leather we want haha 😅
How do you get to know the catalog of what they have and the leathers, prices, terminology (such as quota bag) etc if you can’t even see the leather handbags except during a brief appointment? Is there somewhere else to learn about what they have? I’m catching dribs and drabs listening- i know Kelly has Sellier, but idk what things mean or their significance. I may never be a Hermēs customer, so I don’t want to pester people with questions. I just want to know a source.
Great video! The tips that you provided were very informative … I will be in France soon & have my fingers crossed for a Birkin 30. If they offer you a bag, @ what point do they reveal the price? Do they assume that you’ll just take whatever is offered regardless? I look forward to your response. Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the tips Jane! I agree with all of them :) Even if our SA is on holidays/ taking time off we just wait for her to come back to visit the store instead of asking another SA for help, since the relationship just isn’t the same. Why did you choose Paris to be your home store instead of somewhere closer? Many years ago when we asked i think I remember the SA telling us that spending in other boutiques doesn’t count towards your home store quota, so we stopped buying outside of our home store but I don’t know if that has changed. I guess maybe Paris has more selection 😄
Yes I absolutely agree! My SA was out for a few months due to injury and I waited for her to return before purchasing more and I’m sure she appreciated the loyalty (at least I hope 😆). Oh Paris isn’t my home store! My home store is actually in Toronto :) that’s where I got my C18 in rose gold hardware and was also offered a B25 but in etoupe which I turned down for the C18. Yup purchases in other boutiques don’t count but from my experience (and I know I was very lucky) I find Paris is a lot cheaper to get a bag and the prespend is not nearly as important (since spending 3:1 or even 2:1 is too much for me, not that ballar 😅).
Hey Vicky!! 😃 I actually don’t use hardware protector on my Constance 😅 maybe I should haha. I just figured the hardware protector is the same as the plastic that the bag comes with and I don’t want the hardware to oxidize or be affected negatively so I removed the plastic. I figured if it gets really scratched up in a few years I’ll just send it back to Hermes spa to replace it. Although I do notice that the rose gold hardware does tarnish quite easily 😢, I think it can be wiped off though
Hi Wendy! 👋🙂 Both are great choices depending on the vibe you’re looking for! I would recommend the 30 since it still looks pretty nice on petites and won’t be as heavy as the 35. Even my 25 can get pretty heavy as a crook of arm bag due to the leather even when it’s half filled so can’t imagine the 35 😅
Thank you, Jane! Given how expensive Hermes is and how i prefer to be more conservative with my spending, what if it takes me 2 years to build up my pre-spend history and then another 2 years to save up for the bag? Do you know of anyone who's had this experience, where the SA still remembers that their client is still waiting for a bag after 2 years 😅🤣🤣🤣
Hahahaha that’s a very fair question!! I understand the whole process is super expensive 😅. Do you mean you’ll be ready to purchase the bag in 4 years? 😂 So 2 years wait for a bag is not too uncommon at least in Canada since it’s so competitive (I waited that long for my C18). But normally once you hit your prespend limit set by your SA they should start to offer you bags and if they offer your dream bag and you don’t take it who knows when it’ll come back again. Also a big risk there is if you wait too long and your SA leaves then all that relationship building will be useless. So I would recommend being ready to purchase the bag during your “journey”, but there are a lot of people that have to spend a lot more than 1:1 these days so it’s a gamble. If you’re not picky about specs you can absolutely try your luck in Paris (I’ve scored a kelly and a birkin in Paris with minimal prespend) and that would probably be your best bet if budget is an issue :). Good luck!! 💕
@@janeshappyplace3687 hahaha! Thanks, Jane. Yeah, I would be ready in 4 years. So spend for 2 years, then gotta buy nothing for 2 years 😅😅 yeah I just feel really uncomfortable just passing over large sums of money to businesses rapidly.
