David Cameron's first move was to rebrand his party: "Vote blue, go green". People forget these things in the 24hr news cycle... The green agenda has been kicked into the long grass for far too long & paving the way is never easy. Ask the Suffragettes or Nigel Farage (or Caroline Lucas). Green polices aren't established (yet), you're reticence is simply a knee jerk reaction to (the fear of) pragmatic change. It's inevitable. Once green policies are the norm, you'll look back on what you said/ the way you acted with shame, mark my words.
