Paint matched looks much better. I’ll admit, the new spoiler isn’t my favorite, I prefer the simplicity of the old one. But that’s the beauty of all of this, you can modify your car how you like it! Got home from church and got to watch the video now. I really like carbon fiber, especially glossy. It looks great on your car, especially with your rear trunk lip spoiler and body kit, but it would have looked better if your trunk lip spoiler was glossy carbon fiber, too. There's some nice carbon fiber pattern adhesive door sill protectors on another video I saw last night. I might get those, they look better than the OEM accessories one. But like I said, unless I get the purple people eater STH, I like my car more low keyed subtle.
Glad you finished it! I think the carbon would look really good on the grey or black. Just didn't look right on blue! Oh just wait!!! Should have a full carbon interior kit video out in a couple weeks, including steering wheel! Some exterior too! That was just to much!
@@717PROJECT I like the interior as is, but the leather seats, or at least the leatherette door and center console armrests that 10th Generation Sport had, that they omitted from the 2022 11th Generation Civic Sports would be nice. The red interior trim accents from the Si would look nice with a black or blue sedan or hatchback. Someone with a BBP STH had a nice red pinstripe job done to their HPD appearance package and wheels, and it looked really sharp. I like detail stuff, like the nice Honda wheel valve stem caps. But not overdone inside or out, unless it was a show car, or the Purple STH. Acuity had those nice billet aluminum oil fill cap. I would probably get the red one. I will probably get the black Civic and Sport Emblems, snd the Blue or Black JDM Type R style Honda H-Mark emblems for the grille, hatchback and steering wheel. The blsck ones will probably match the Civic and Sport emblems better.

@@MrStark96 Check with the manufacturer if the angle of the spoiler will match on the hatchback. It might not, because the two body styles glass may be different angles. They may have one specifically for the hatchback.

I'm not sure how I missed this video but I didn't care for the carbon look paint match looks much better, I'm still partial to your old spoiler because I like that it doesn't have to go on the paint, the pieces on the roof would make me nervous, but it does look good!
"Give me the Roof!" If you used 3M 4298 adhesion promoter you're supposed to let it dry before you apply the tape. In the video you said to app!y it before it dries. Also, the promoter is great stuff. I highly recommend it for any future add ons.
I was just doing what my body guy recommended. I trust him, he's done a lot of work for me. It flashes really fast so it was most likely dry before I put it down...lol! Appreciate the comment 🙏 Thank you!

@@717PROJECT btw Did you see the new Toyota Corolla GR with 300 hp? It's really nice, especially the soecial edition just for 2023, but I would still take an Si, over that, or even the new Type R, unless I had $$$ to get them as toy cars, I probably won't even have time for. The Sport Hatchback fixed up like I want would be enough, unless I can spring for a Sport Touring Hatchback, so I don't need to get a new stereo. Especially if I can get the rare Smokey Mauve Pearl one, with the rear wing and HPD package, and all the other stuff I would add on.
@@717PROJECT Yeah. I was raised to like GM musclecars, but now most are unreliable. I don't drive fast anymore. If I was still in the real Five-Oh I would get a faster car, like the senior officers drive theirvown subsidized vehicles. They used to have Camaros and Mustangs, as they were approved by the department. But the new mustangs and Camaros aren't, so some drive Dodge Chargers, but lots/most have Toyota 4 Runners and some have Camries. I would probably get a Camry SE because the 4 cylinder is fast enough, andcreliable, and if it gets crashed or damaged, it's easy and not as expensive to get a new one, and just get a nice car to drive off duty, and carry a portable radio when I do. The Civic Sport Hatchback is perfect for me, unless like I said I can get the Sport Touring Hatchback with all the goodies. I still would prefer the N/A 2.0L engine and no sunroof, etc. My realistic, practical second car choice would be an HR-V Sport for the utility before they change it, and go hybrid. My other choice would be the new Ford Maverick pickup base XL trim with the retro steelie wheels and the FWD 250 HP ecoboost 2.0L. Outfitted with the OEM accessories it comes to $28K. There would not be much other things to add after that except window tint, and get nice custom seat covers from a longbtime loczl company here, and hop up the stereo similar to what I would put in the Civic, din e only the top Lariatvtrim has the optional Bang & Olufson stereo. The rest of the gear of the upper two trims is not a biggie if I csn get all thise accessories I want. They have lots of nice colors, but I would get the one similar to the Aegean Blue Metallic, and the Bushwhacker fender flares. Cute, smaller truck to carry my kysuc gear and other stuff and go do more outdoor stuff here.

Thank you 🙏 I think it would fit. The gaps between the window and roof peices would have to be bigger due to opening the hatch! Double check the description of the part before you purchase just to be sure!
@@charleshawkins281 Almost everything fits the Sedan and Hatchback, except the hatch area and rear fascia, taillights, bumper, etc. You would have to check because of the differences. Also, the angle for the spoiler may be off, because the rear glass or the sedan and hatch seem to have different angles.
@@717PROJECT I really try to be careful with descriptions. I have had to return two items off of ebay due to the fact that sellers say 11th generation civic and or say hatchback and then I get the product and it doest fit. I give the seller a heads up thru a message on ebay, that it is not for the hatchback , so they can omit that out of the description for other buyers to be aware of, but I get a response saying it's for the 11th generation civic and leave the word "hatchback" in the description lol. What can I tell ya. My search for window louvers for the hatchback continues.
@@717PROJECT Some places won't even ship to Alaska and Hawai'i, because they only ship to the US. Seriously, many people don't realize we are a state. They're probably that ssme people that say our taro based staple food, poi tastes like wallpaper paste. Do people in the Mainland USA eat wallpaper paste? We use poi and cooked rice grains to attach our paper together, because they are food staples.

Just a reminder, the AEM short ram intake I have is for a 10th gen 2.0L. It does fit but I needed to make a bracket and add a bolt & nut. I'm sure other manufacture 10th gens fit as well with mods. I know the PRL CAI fits the 1.5t with a little mod as well. Appreciate the comment, Joey! Thank you 🙏

@@717PROJECT btw Did you see the new Toyota Corolla GR with 300 hp? It's really nice, especially the soecial edition just for 2023, but I would still take an Si, over that, or even the new Type R, unless I had $$$ to get them as toy cars, I probably won't even have time for. The Sport Hatchback fixed up like I want would be enough, unless I can spring for a Sport Touring Hatchback, so I don't need to get a new stereo. Especially if I can get the rare Smokey Mauve Pearl one, with the rear wing and HPD package, and all the other stuff I would add on.

@@717PROJECT Yeah. I was raised to like GM musclecars, but now most are unreliable. I don't drive fast anymore. If I was still in the real Five-Oh I would get a faster car, like the senior officers drive theirvown subsidized vehicles. They used to have Camaros and Mustangs, as they were approved by the department. But the new mustangs and Camaros aren't, so some drive Dodge Chargers, but lots/most have Toyota 4 Runners and some have Camries. I would probably get a Camry SE because the 4 cylinder is fast enough, andcreliable, and if it gets crashed or damaged, it's easy and not as expensive to get a new one, and just get a nice car to drive off duty, and carry a portable radio when I do.
The Civic Sport Hatchback is perfect for me, unless like I said I can get the Sport Touring Hatchback with all the goodies. I still would prefer the N/A 2.0L engine and no sunroof, etc.
My realistic, practical second car choice would be an HR-V Sport for the utility before they change it, and go hybrid.
My other choice would be the new Ford Maverick pickup base XL trim with the retro steelie wheels and the FWD 250 HP ecoboost 2.0L. Outfitted with the OEM accessories it comes to $28K. There would not be much other things to add after that except window tint, and get nice custom seat covers from a longbtime loczl company here, and hop up the stereo similar to what I would put in the Civic, din e only the top Lariatvtrim has the optional Bang & Olufson stereo. The rest of the gear of the upper two trims is not a biggie if I csn get all thise accessories I want. They have lots of nice colors, but I would get the one similar to the Aegean Blue Metallic, and the Bushwhacker fender flares. Cute, smaller truck to carry my kysuc gear and other stuff and go do more outdoor stuff here.

For sure! Carbon or gloss black would look 🔥 Not sure if this fits the hatch, the angle of the window is most likely different. Just make sure to check the parts description before you purchase.

@@charleshawkins281 Almost everything fits the Sedan and Hatchback, except the hatch area and rear fascia, taillights, bumper, etc. You would have to check because of the differences. Also, the angle for the spoiler may be off, because the rear glass or the sedan and hatch seem to have different angles.
@@717PROJECT I really try to be careful with descriptions. I have had to return two items off of ebay due to the fact that sellers say 11th generation civic and or say hatchback and then I get the product and it doest fit. I give the seller a heads up thru a message on ebay, that it is not for the hatchback , so they can omit that out of the description for other buyers to be aware of, but I get a response saying it's for the 11th generation civic and leave the word "hatchback" in the description lol. What can I tell ya. My search for window louvers for the hatchback continues.

Hey I have a 2022 civic sport in black and was wondering if the aem short ram intake is the only one that fits the car? Or if I can get another brand or anything like that
Just a reminder, the AEM short ram intake I have is for a 10th gen 2.0L. It does fit but I needed to make a bracket and add a bolt & nut. I'm sure other manufacture 10th gens fit as well with mods. I know the PRL CAI fits the 1.5t with a little mod as well. Appreciate the comment, Joey! Thank you 🙏
