There's some top name drivers out there competing with you trying just as hard to take home that trophy and prize money as you are so smile and remember you cant win them all but you get an A+ for your effort. GREAT JOB TEAM someday you will look back at these times spent with your Dad and the Family and remember how wonderful it has been spending time with each other its a total blessing to see this from our side of the fence as well. Local tracks become monsters when big touring shows come to town. Everything is different. This show looked just like almost every WOO main event. Tracks just can't hold that many 1000hp cars with drivers that hammer down. Top 10. Always a win.

I recently watched an in car vid with swindell and he was blistering fast entering turn and staying low. Awful evening with the extra classes of support. So much so I sent an email to Willamette and copied Narc410's, that if they run that many classes again, I won't be back. They cut your race back 5 laps due to running so late. As for your race, maybe change to cold weather for the feature effected the car. Anyway, it's over. Just keep your notes for next time.
Tanner its racing . sometimes you beat the track, sometimes it beats you. It's how you believe in yourself the next race . Know you are a good driver and that stuff happens. you might had your car setup identical to the winner, made every move he made , but still have the track beat you. It is part of the sport, one of the last sports that truly has no favorite person, Rookie to champion, you have the same chance that the track will give you the edge. Stay safe
It was a somewhat difficult main event but it was still a top 10, the car is in one piece and you are on to the next race. You held your own for the time you were in the top 4, then you slid back those additional spots pretty quick. The car wasn't set up quite right for the track conditions and once the rubber came in, it was follow the guy in front around the bottom. Its not easy to set a car up to run dry, dry slick for a bit and then transition to a track that takes rubber. Just have to find that secret setup. Not much else you can do. It will come. Better nights are ahead. Good luck.

Check out when the driver likes a track, like Christmas morning. Just can't wait to get out there. Appreciation to the regiment to the car. Professionalism. Some can say, no don't need to wash the car, do the maintenance, right away. But that's the difference between running in the show, and winning the show.
In the last few laps of the feature, the left front tire looks like it is trying to glaze over. Is that such a thing in sprint car racing, and if so ,why the left front? It would get so shiny and glossy in the video, like a really hard glazed over tire. Please explain what I’m seeing if you can Tanner.

Most likely because the track took rubber. Which means it’s wearing at a much faster rate
