It’s an awesome amplifier. I’ve owned one for 4 years upgraded to KT150 power tubes. It can drive even the most inefficient speaker with very surprising bass punch.
Hi Paul, having just purchased a Primaluna amplifier, I can honestly say the 4 ohm tap will be very good for 6 ohm speakers. I have the legendary Platinum audio solo speakers (6 ohm 84db). I was blown away by the current delivery from this tap with jazz and classical music.
J Tay hi thanks for your reply,, Im wanting to find more out about these amps,, I've never had a tube amp so reatavly clueless,, I presume you can alter the voltage to accommodate UK mains,?
Hi-Fi Corner thanks, I have to say I've lost a little interest in tube powered amps, reason for this is I keep reading that a tube amp will only bring out the best in certain types of music, acoustic/ jazz, and won't do rock music justice,, anyone had this experience..

You explain the amp like it’s a piece of cake to be eaten
A sumptuous and divine layer cake!
i want one
Audiophile video with compressed sound.
Glad you can tell, you must have decent equipment :)
You forgot to fake an English accent when quoting the physical assets in metric and saying al-oo-minium. : )
My speakers are rated at 6ohm what tap would I use ?

I presume you can, you may want to contact Upscale Audio, or their European counterpart.
You would need to try both. You wont cause the amplifier any harm, but the impediance is not a stationary figure.

Inches anyone?
or feet.
Metric units are normal, whole science use metric....only USA use idiotic imperial shit..
Why would you want mono mode?
Running two of them in stereo one amp for each channel.
@@cleanyourears too much money
Wear your gloves! 😉
It would be fun to reverse engineer it and publish a schematic just to irritate Kevin Deal.
