Even if you’ve never heard God before, Julie Carruth will help guide you into God’s presence and help you understand how God speaks to you personally.
In today's meditation with God, we listen for God’s voice as we meditate on Jesus’ instructions to his disciples before he goes to the cross. We allow God and the Holy Spirit to teach us about how to not be afraid and not shy away from fear in the face of danger and chaos.
We surrender in this Hearing God’s Voice meditation and allow God’s love to wash over us and renew our minds as we encounter God’s Truth in Scripture Meditation.

In my back pack there was a key in it
Wao! I got folded white t-shirt, pink blanket showing only pointy corners and a gold key with a gold charm at the bottom.
My backpack was empty but while my eyes were closed there was a bright circle- almost like the one you see around the sun or moon sometimes... Empty is how I feel, surrounded by lies is another feeling that I have and the circle and empty backpack was showing me just that. I'm not sure GOD really likes me at all, but I will keep working on this. Thank you - Salena
Thank you for sharing this, Julie! In the backpack was His heart. Jesus told me that I have His heart; I always have and always will. And instead of putting His heart back in the backpack, when I heard the zipping sound, it was as if the zipper was on my chest. And, He had placed His heart inside of my chest. ❤️🔥

In my backpack was a clock. Telling me my Daddy has a lot for me to do. Most importantly to bring people to Christ. Or at least one person! Thank you for this beautiful meditation. 💕
In today's mediation, "the word truth was in the backpack". All the stress is gone, I feel relaxed and energized..read to continue my day! Amen.

Thank you, Julie. A few minutes before listening to this video a friend sent me a photograph of chalk drawings on a sidewalk with various shapes as evidence of children playing outdoors. The photograph appeared in my backpack.
I have now listened to this meditation four times. Each time the backpack is black and made by Karrimor. The last three times the gifts have been a packet of stamps, a white tulip and a magnifying glass.
Peace for the journey ahead
I saw on the side of this old church building where I just planted a congregation, a pile of beautifully wrapped gifts. I have been praying that God fill the pew, so that they may hear His Words. On the pulpit there was a couple of papers with something written on them but I could not make out the words. I did however have a cross in my backpack, and thoughts of the world remember. And the thoughts of the congregation (about 10 so far) walking through the small town (built around the church) carrying the cross. That is what I saw.

Julie thank you sooooo much for this verse from the book of John. I have been living apart from the love of my life for six months and tomorrow we are having lunch at the house and I am going talk to her about the future of our marriage. My heart is definitely troubled and right now, the night before we are going to meet, I am a little afraid. Again the Holy Spirit is at work in your life AND mine. The Holy Spirit guided me to your meditation and guided you to choose this verse that I needed. Thank you and God bless you. 🙏🏼
Thank you! In my backpack was a bracelet to remind me of my Daddy all day. To stop, look, and listen.
There was a light on mine. I heard God say through this dark season, it may be dark but Ive given you light. I am light. Even when you cant see your way, remember Ive already made the path clear because I am the light.
There is a light in my backpack His light of love provision and guidance through His wisdom for me.

I saw His peace wrapped and tied with a bow. I am at home with my second day of covid and I desperately need God's peace through this recovery.

Thanks Julie I have been so far from Jesus espeacially living in sin the last four years and drinking Seven months ago I guit drinking and am doing things to stay sober and faithful to Jesus
Thank you so much. I have been away from the church for several years. I actually burned out in the church and felt very alone when it happened. I saw an old wooden Celtic cross in my backpack. I just felt forgiven and welcome back to Christ.
I saw a Bible underneath my grandson baby who I have been praying hard for. I had refined faith for the start and end but was having trouble keeping faith for the middle. I got my confirmation that everything is going to be ok! Love ❤️ this!
I Philip God forgive, his love ,his place ,his joy , to get know him .and trust in him know that I am chloride of God .

Doral, that is awesome!! Thank you for your comment. As I was reading what you wrote, Psalm 119:105 came into my heart, "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." God is SO good!!! I saw a book and I heard write your story write your story.
I had a journal and a pen in my backpack. And Jesus told me to use it to write about the fear to love and be loved.
Bible in backpack. He wants me to dig deep. Submerge in it. Ephesians. Came to mind.

Hey Kelly! I love what you found! Sounds like you've got some writing to do. Lol. Have you started yet? God is always faithful to provide us the next step once we do what He asks of us. In other words, I believe that once you start writing/journaling, God will tell you the next step to take. Keep me updated! I'm excited to see what He has in store for you.

I found a Bible and had Him say you need the Word. I am the Word. All that matters is my Word
In my backpack there was a pair of walking boots. I will need them to keep going on my journey, and they are really comfortable. I was also aware that Jesus is going to come with me on this journey, I won't have to do it on my own.
I had a violin in my backpack. He's been speaking to me to learn the violin.

I have a big heart in my backpack. With hundreds of little pieces like a diamond hearts that I’m ready to distribute to the people. It will completely change there life.
I opened my backpack and i saw a whitebox and when i opened it i saw the word peace
I had a lion in my backpack for courage my meditation this week is a road trip I am taking with my husband in his corvette his driving scares me and I am having anxiety over the trip so I am going to do this meditation all week to hand over my fear

Wow... I'm going thru a lot right now with a separation from my husband. I saw a white notebook in the backpack and Jesus said write down your journey and I also kept seeing the number 256, and Jesus said don't be afraid.
Wow. God is so faithful to reveal Himself when we take time to listen ❤️ I am so sorry for your separation. I can only imagine how difficult this time must be for you. Praying that as you write down your journey that God will show you the steps to take.

Jesus gave me an olive green canvas napsack with the whole universe in it.
I saw a simple handkerchief. When you cough, sniffle or sneeze, and you need to use me, please remember you are loved. If your eyes are full of tears from laughter, hurt or fears, and you need to use me, please remember you are loved if your shoulders to the plow, and there’s sweat upon your brow and you need to use me. Please remember you are loved.

I saw gold and I am not sure what it meant. I am experiencing lots of changes right now and I am so scared. I need money I hope it means he has a plan for my house. I just got message I lived in the sunshine state. It will be ok.
I got a dark blue back pack and took out a red rubber stretchy ball with stretchy strings.

I had a small carbon dioxide cartridge in my backpack. I don't even know what those are used for but that's what came to mind. I know, that's really weird but that's what came to mind.
I didn't catch any reason for it though. Now I'm puzzled.

Hi Viridiana! Thank you for your question. I love what you found in your backpack for the journey ahead of you. As I prayed about it, I felt like God was saying that He has equipped you with the ability to release the Word of God unto a situation through powerful and quick intercession (prayer). I keep hearing “surprised by the Spirit.” I’m not really sure if that means anything to you?? But I thought I’d let you know! Enjoy the journey ahead of you. It’s going to be a lot of fun 😁
Julie Carruth thank you! I guess I have always felt like God always has new ways to surprise me. Funny, I was actually going through self doubt when I was doing this meditation.
