Hi Chris, I appreciate your honesty towards your channel. You’ve introduced me to some great artists since I first tuned in a couple of years ago. Thank you!
Keep up the good work Chris. Love watching your channel since discovering it recently. You're a great advocate for vinyl records and bringing their content to the masses.
Keep up the great content, Chris. Always enjoy seeing what you have to show. I have that Zamrock set, and was playing through it last week, funnily enough. Brilliant stuff. Bought the Vinyl Me Please Miles Davis boxset recently, too, which is absolutely stellar - thoroughly recommended. From Glen (The Norfolk Record Collector 😁)
Hi glen,I bet that miles Davies is a great listen,I think vmp are quality releases, still toying with the idea of subscribing to them as they do some great titles, maybe one day , All the best chris..
You Really Hit Home With Your Comments On Your Channel!! I Just Live To See Guys Like Me Showing Records, So There You Go!!! Coming To You From South Carolina!!!! Peace Brother!!!!
Excellent video Chris. Really interesting to hear about Zamrock, a genre I knew little about before your video..I know Steve Carlson is a big fan of African music, so he'll be interested to see this for sure . I'm definitely intrigued to go and stream some of what you showed here. Glad to hear you enjoy playing minidisc, I'm a big fan of that format Good to see the 78 Beatles Stereo collection, I've heard that the sound quality on those records is generally excellent and a good substitute in lieu of early pressings.
Hi rob, always great to hear your comments ,I've been using mini disc for years now,I wish it had taken over from CD ,but was not to be ,nothing against CD I still play CD and some CDs I have sound amazing, but in my opinion mini disc is generally warmer and more versatile, plus you can record from an analog source and make mix discs, plus for us vinyl collectors if we have a rare record we can help preserve our record by recording it to mini disc and play it as many times as we like without worrying about wear etc on our precious record, Zamrock first time I heard it was totally blown away, witch are amazing so are amanaz ,but the album by the oscillations for me is absolutely amazing. Bc13 is a great box set I'm my sa version please please me and revolver I don't like much ,but saying that I've never heard a stereo version of those 2 albums I like anyway ,I'm sure they exist somewhere though.. All the best chris..
Mini disc is a great medium, better than CD in my opinion, there are some great Beatles albums to collect ,and don't have to be expensive, although some pressings are very expensive. All the best chris..
