I personally saw it as a first reaction think about it this way everyone in that room saw Deku as a hero and never saw him in THAT form so suddenly seeing that form especially for Uraraka who was the closest to him it had a shock factor and for people who say they would stay next to him, I’m sorry I find that hard to believe if you suddenly saw someone close to you become that in front of you and it turns out that is their true form then you would be lost in confusion and a feeling of betrayal because they didn’t trust you enough to tell you this so you wouldn’t know how to react and move farther away from them, so while you can all say you are mad about her moving it was a natural reaction no matter how you look at it, and after all is said and done they will see that its still the same Deku in the end but again, what I am saying is Uraraka was hit with this suddenly so she would move it’s just natural

The kids are traumatized, and by the time they got to the end, six was so tired, I mean she turned into a freaken monster, her bones and muscles reforming twice! She's dead tired! She did not have the strength to hold mono, so she lost her grip. Not to mention her hunger, which is why she didn't jump after him. If she went with mono, her hunger would eventually force her to kill him herself. So she did the one thing she could, let him go and left him with a chance to live.
