Great video! Almost a year ago, I left my old job of 6 years to a new job due to a 30% salary increase. I quickly realized that the grass is not greener on the other. Luckily I left my old job in great terms so after a phone call to my old boss, she was ecstatic to have me return. This will be the second time I’ve boomeranged to an old company.
I started my job early in the pandemic and left my old one long before "the great resignation" started. Like you said there were some very good reasons that I felt the job I left was not for me. The opportunity for me to go back is available but I would not do it because the reasons I left are still present in that environment. Is any job perfect? No of course not. But there are things I will live with and things I won't. Once the decision is made I stick with it.
Everything was great until you included Steve Jobs in Boomerang employee list ..lol.. He Boomerangd after 10 years and he didnt leave himself, was forced out by board and he was a major stake of Apple which he founded.. The people who watch these videos are small time employees and its hilarious you included Steve with us.
