- A little thank you to all the people who organised, contributed to, compiled, illustrated or were otherwise involved in the fantastic 'Lemons and Landmarks' book I was given during the recording of series 4 of Cabin Pressure.
I believe the organisers have raised a frankly astonishing £15,000 for charity from it. Given the international nature of the book, it seems appropriate this should be donated to the amazing work done by Médecins Sans Frontières.
Meanwhile... here is some arrant silliness by way of a thank you.
DONT MIND ME IM JUST GETTING REALLY EMOTIONAL OVER PHOTOS OF A LEMON
The boys and girls of the Severn Valley railway in Worcestershire are regular players of a version of the traveling lemon. One even got gaffer taped to the rear of a train one day.
Big fan. Made me smile.
John Finnemore is a genius!
The stamps on the lemon were a great idea! I have a fake lemon from the craft store, though - lasts much longer ;)
This is so epic. Clearly the person who disliked this was so impressed and possibly exited that they missed the thumbs up and so accidently ended up disliking this. awww its ok we forgive you.
The lemon in peril? Oh no! It must be allowed to be in play!
Fan of the lemon and of course John Finnemore. Thanks for a much needed chuckle :)
This video was the funniest thing since Cabin Pressure! Thanks Mr Finnemore!
The ending left a bittersweet taste in my mouth. It is a shame the little travelling lemon died, but at least it died happy.
John, you are a beautiful human being.
A lot of those made me laugh aloud! (Especially 'Lemon in peril')
Traveling-Lemon-Awesomeness.
In a word...Brilliant!
It's the captions that killed me, fantastic!
BRILLIANT!!!!!!
Great tribute for the most outstanding character in the show. :D
Oh that is great. The stamps are what made it. Made my day!!
Because of all this madness about the lemon, I took a lemon to my final persentation in front of all my college teachers. It was great, or horrible. I can't remember anything besides the lemon and the ten cups of coffe I had before that moment.
beautiful, just beautiful....
We need to ask the astronauts to take a lemon 🍋 (they make plastic ones which would survive the trip) on the first expedition🚀 to Mars . They you could paste an extra page into your marvellous book
that is sooo weird (also awesome)
I just talked about that book in my media & society class for extra credit ('just' as in 15 minutes before I am posting this).
I was ad-libbing a talk on social media and somehow in my rambling I ended up talking about fandoms and community and stuff. Yes.
It wasn't supposed to be improv but... the paper aspect isn't due until midnight sooo....
:)
This makes me so happy. Hope you had fun showing the lemon the world! :)
Thanks for a giggle on a day when I needed it. Brilliant!
Ha this was sooo funny! I couldn´t stop laughing, seriously xD Pity it couldn´t manage to go about 4 hundreds km to the east from Munich!
Absolutely Brilliant!!
John Finnemore I could not love you more!
Thank you John - brightened up my day, 😊 Susanna
What a lucky lemon!
Awww... that's so sweet.
Just wonderful!!
Brilliant!
Can't get better than Lemon Selfies :D
That's absolutely brilliant!
This makes me to unbelieveably happy! Smiles all around!
Brilliant!! And I'm so glad the lemon got a proper send off at the end.. what a cheerful video :)
This is too adorable to be real.
BUT IT IS REAL AND HERE IT IS.
You are amazing, Mr John Finnemore ;u; You are my idol.
Coming up: The Traveling Lemon Goes Around The World?!
Can Cabin Pressure: Lemons and Landmarks be purchased in bookstores? If yes, then I'll go run to the nearest store and buy one or two or perhaps all the copies there to share with the world :3
No one is like mr Finnemore when it comes to finding creative ways to thank his fans!
This video is brilliant! I am glad that they were able to raise so much money! It was a really amazing project!
Putting stemps on lemon is a great idea! I should did it on my travelling lemon in San Jose back then
John, pretty good!! BUT, if I beg, can you please please put up the "belgium is the best" sketch....i almost died laughing...
Pretty please. ..!!........
that is *BRILLIANT!* :D
Who could dislike this video?
The piano playing in this is superb, I wonder if that’s JF playing?!
Aw, what an amazing project and what a great video! Also: you've been to Austria so I'm just gonna squeal for a bit now! :D
Gotta' love his brand of silly humour :3 I died laughing at 0:53 ...
Bravo!
lovely and hilarious - the Geneva incident was my favourite but it's all great!
I did mean the lemon, but John Finnemore is also very brilliant (hi there sir, I love your stuff!). ;)
I didn't realise the project got £15000! That's amazing! Well done CP fans (and John, what an excellent choice of charity).
You're back on TH-cam! Great as ever!
You, sir, are a brilliant man!
And now I've got a real big smile on my face. Adieu petit citron, adieu.
The LEMON is paramount
I'm dying of happiness, you really made my day!
This is absolutely delightful!
This is fantastic! I love Cabin Pressure!
You get around!
Simplement Fantastique!
In Avignon wouldn't sous le pont have been more appropriate for the first image?
I like the stamps :)
Top notch faces, sir.
5 Stars!
Also the person who wrote the show!
If you play the video at half speed it's four times as funny. 🤭
Lemon Lemon!
Haha, great video XD Are the stamps covering up the brown bits as the lemon gets more and more squishy?
Mr finnemore please respond. You are my hero
Oh no, you were in Innsbruck and I didn't know... :-/
**sigh** I feel bereft in the interim between Souvenir Programme and Double Acts...
Oh my god, the chocolate cake at 2:08 looks delicious!! Was it good?
Brilliant!
Will there be more Cabin Pressure?
you have been to austria :-) i hope you liked "our" sachertorte and maybe had a schnitzel? ;-)
Oh you Finnemore, I like you
The Verona and Nice lemons are suspiciously devoid of stamps... Can it be? That this was edited into a different order... from reality? Well, since I ask you... You must tell!! :D
And please tell us when you know the next dates for your show now that theatres are meant to be reopening (I know, I know: no doubt you'd love to know yourself, first!)
You sir are going to be the death of me
You are beautiful.
I think you mean sour...(I'm sorry, I couldn't resist)
