yes just look at those copper wires theyre so thick and robust..only their lacquered insulation got worn down and shorted out the motor..he used gasket paper to bring them back into service!! 🐱👍🏿
I love watching all of the folks in your neighborhood fix and redo these armatures. There are a few that are the better ones and you my friend are a very talented individual. You took that yucky piece of camel poo, and turned it into a useful nice neat valuable commodity. Everybody seems to have their own style but your neatness counts and you're really talented and amazing. Thank you for being cool keep fixing things to make the world go. 🌈🌎😎👌🤯😉
Wish I had someone local to do that around here. The junk the auto part stores sell us last a year or two. Bet this rebuilt starter will last 5 years at least.
so basically he removed those copper wire windings with worn lacquer insulation and reinserted them with paper insulators instead ..wow!! how much does he charge for such a repair?? These starter motors actually make powerful dc generators too if spun hard as a windmill..
These are skills we gave up in the west for the convenience (and at the cost of our environment). Such work is satisfying and rewarding.
Fascinating too watch, how things old and used are brought back to life, for more years of good use. 👍

Just think what this man can do if he had his hand on high-end tools.
