    Grammar Hero, thank you so much for your videos and the time you take to help us all. I cannot thank you enough ! I took my ASVAB this past Thursday and went from receiving a 32 the very first time to a 93 on the PiCat and a 73 on the ASVAB . I studied solely off your videos and the word knowledge website. Thank you soooo much grammar Hero, you’re a true Hero. shipping off to Marine Corps bootcamp in a couple months, couldn’t have done it w/o your help. !!!
    I recommended you to the testing personnel.

      @@gravityyy21 for the word knowledge i watched all his vocab videos and wrote down synonyms for those words as well as well & I would study while brushing my teeth, during my lunch break at work. I then went over to the website he linked on here and did grades 8-12 for synonyms/antonyms and sentences . The ASVAB will mostly ask you for synonyms on the vocab section.
      You got this!!!!

    It’s not much but I passed with a 39.. I’m only joining the reserves so I have plenty of time to study more and take another test in the meantime doing school for IT. But all of the practice tests really helped. What I realized really helped is that even finding the right answer at first glance. I still went through all choices just to make sure they were wrong. I went from a 16 to 39 in just a few weeks. Imagine another month or two? Thank you for your free tests and videos they really helped. The man above also helped me through this journey so I thank you both 🙏 I leave to meps for just the oath on the 28th since I already got my physical done. Again thank you so much!!!!!!!!

    I thought of an easier way for Q#10. Instead of dividing 15,000 by 60, i reduced this by the common factor of 3. That way it would be really simple and you'd be left with 6,000/20 and 5,000/20. At this point you can easily just subtract the fractions, divide and you get 50. This was the most natural way I found myself performing this equation.

So since the question is base on the two years period. I multiple it by 12 months = 24 months. I then added the percentage = 30%;

    Are the problems in the ASVAB similar to the AFOQT (AirForceOfficerQualifingTest) or slightly different?

    • @GrammarHero
      @GrammarHero  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The AFOQT and ASVAB cover the same topics in the math sections, but the AFOQT requires you to answer more questions in a shorter amount of time. As it happens, those questions are also slightly more challenging. In other words, you don't have time to think about how to solve the problems on the AFQOT; instead, you almost immediately have to know how to solve each question as soon as you read it.
      Here is my playlist with some practice AFOQT questions: th-cam.com/play/PLhlU-GzAQeG2_1LUcHDs7muXMOaVanEWB.html

      You got this, learn with your own pace… I started study in June consistently compare to now I’m doing so much better my test is in a week.
      What I did is watch his video create a playlist of what you need to study and a revision playlist that way when you done watching a video you put it in the revision playlist take note.
      Also download his reference sheet and memorize them if you know your formulas you will be fine. Hope that helps
