The issue there is that the M5 and Comp were built to get you there faster on the Autobahn in comfort. The M5 CS was built to be fun. The extra money is because something like that may not sell (big number not go up, me not buy), but it takes a lot of R&D money to find that sweet spot, and they have money guys to convince when they want to make something cool. Its like the 911 S/T. Why not buy a GT3 Touring. What is the business case for spending more money on something that doesn't show up on a stats sheet. Its because its cool and fun brother. We don't have a lot of that, and it's because you think that's not enough that something that should be more common has to remain "special". 👎
