Been learning about skin biopsy test .
      ALPHA SYNUCLEIN TEST
Supposedly it can prove PD . He is still confused and couldn't get his guess out of him . Kept the meds the same . Been researching this statement made on MRI last year ( prominent perivascular space symptoms ) .
      Symptoms
( Other general symptoms associated with VRS dilation include headaches, dizziness, memory impairment, poor concentration, dementia, visual changes, oculomotor abnormality, tremors, seizures, limb weakness, and ataxia ) . No clue what Ataxia is , doesn't sound great🥺
      Crazy
I guess i will wait 6 months to ask abou itt . Sometimes I think they don't tell you what they are thinking . Like Tory said takes them awhile to dial it in .
      I guess .
Hope you are doing great Brother

These are all the issues that I struggle most with, so I am definitely going to look into this. Some of the the benefits you mention from red light therapy are weirdly close to those I have received from taking high dose vitamin B1. My hair is growing faster and thicker. My skin feels better. My ups and downs in medication have levelled out somewhat. However an uninterrupted eight hours sleep still eludes me. My friends say I am mentally sharper and smile more. My journey with vitamin B1 has taken many months and will take some months more. Getting the correct dose and the timing of the dose is a pain, for me at least.
I am going to experiment with a simpler, and cheaper, red light and infra red lamp from Amazon - it emits the relevant frequencies.
Have you tried Inulin? It's a prebiotic that has helped reduce my feelings of anxiety and manage my food cravings. If you try it, I suggest you start with a low dose, perhaps two grams per day, because it can give you wind, bloating, and pain. Thank you for your transmissions. 8-)

Hi Peter, it sounds like you have tried a lot of different things to help ease your symptoms, and thank you for sharing your experiences. I have not tried inulin, but I will add it to my list of things to check out, thank you. Glad to hear the B1 therapy is working for you.
That's great that you are going to try some Red light Therapy. One of the reasons I went with Rouge is because they have their products independently tested and verified.
      Thanks for your comment😀😊

This red light therapy machine is quite expensive though. The price is close to $2,000.

    • @LifewithParkinsons
      @LifewithParkinsons  ปีที่แล้ว

Hello Adelbertantonio, thanks for reaching out. Yes, it does cost a little more, but I feel quality of product will provide better results. Rouge was also willing to have their product tested in the open public, and it has been a big help to me. Their products are also independently tested to ensure quality.
In the it's up to you of course, and there is no pressure to purchase their products. As a sponsor of this channel I am very grateful for Rouge's support and for giving me the chance to share their willingness to support the Parkinson's community. I hope this helps😀😁😊

@@LifewithParkinsons Bromantane acts instead through genomic mechanisms, which produce rapid and long-lasting increases in the expression of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) and aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase (AAAD or DOPA decarboxylase), which are both key enzymes of the dopamine synthesis pathway.[6] These effects have been found to occur in a variety of regions of the brain, including the hypothalamus, striatum, ventral tegmental area, nucleus accumbens, and others.[7]
Research has indicated that amantadine and memantine (compounds of the same class as Bromantane) act as agonists on the σ receptor (K = 7.44 µM and 2.60 µM, respectively). The σ receptor is involved in the dopaminergic effects of memantine, and this mechanism of action may extend to similar compounds, possibly including Bromantane.[8]
Furthermore, animal studies have indicated that administration of Bromantane increases protein kinase C activity in the brain by up to twofold or more. The pharmacological effects of this compound appear to correspond to activation of cAMP-, Ca2+, and phospholipid-dependent protein kinases.[9]

@@LifewithParkinsons essentially it makes the DNA in your brain semi permanently upgrade to be able to produce more dopamine, stimulant and anxiolytic effects. Further research has indicated that it accelerates physical restoration after exercise in normal conditions, as well as under hypoxic and hyperthermia stresses. Research has also indicated increased learning capacity and antagonism to sedative actions of tranquilizers, increased body temperature, improved movement coordination, and immunomodulation actions after administration in human and animal studies.[3]
