You're guaranteed a VR every box. You're not guaranteed a SVR in a box, so you got extremely lucky on that. In fact, unless I'm wrong on this, Himiko SVR is the most expensive of the three SVRs, so you basically just got back everything you spent on that box XD
I don’t know enough about Yu-Gi-Oh rarities to make a comparison, but these are the case ratios for Vanguard (a main set is 20 boxes per case, extra set is 24 boxes per case) Per Case Main Set 1 of each SVR (SVRs are high rarity versions of VRs) 5 of each VR 7-8 of each RRR ~10 of each RR 4-5 insert rarities (SCR, OR, IMR, Re DR, etc - these are high rarity variants or RRR or RR or reprints) Extra Set 1 of each SVR 1 of each OR 1 SCR (if the set has them) 1 unique rarity (if the set has them) 7 of each VR 8 of each RRR 12-13 of each RR Per Box Main Set 1 VR (sometimes 2 in new sets) 3 RRR 6 RR 0-1 insert rarity (SVR, OR, IMR, etc) Extra Set 1 VR or SVR 2 RRR 4 RR (5 in boxes with an SVR) 0-1 insert rarity
Have you heard about ARGs new card game coming out this summer, Argent Saga? Would love to see an opening on that when it comes out. Looks amazing. Thanks again for opening other ccgs! Always cool to see.
In this set, the Great Nature cards are the most highly valued and Gear Chronicle are propably the lowest valued. Though I don't think Genesis has alot of Tournament tops, it saw some experimentation in the premium circuit because of the interaction that the card you drew Himiko has with "Dragon Diety of Destruction, Gyze". Also, maybe your opinion has changed since you last said it but as of right now, Gold Paladin is actually a very competitively viable deck in both competitive meta game. With cards from the Ultra Rare booster and the Miyaji booster making up the constituent parts.
Pretty sure this isn't new, but the best are the Great Nature cards, Gear Chronicle is really good if you know how to play it otherwise not so much, SVR is Probably closest to either Secret Rare or Ultimate Rare, not quite Ghost Rare
An easier way to tell the rarity by looking at the foil, RRs have the cleaner foil while RRRs have the more textured foil.

Really cool video I don't really know anything about vanguard but that Oracle queen looks amazing.
Oracle Queen is arguably the weaker of the three VRs in the set, VR being the highest rarity. Though he pulled the SVR version which is worth a lot.

If you know the ratios, it's obvious that he was going to pull a max rarity card because he got an insert pack with an extra RR. 😋😋
A svr is compared to a 20th anniversary secret rare
It's not new

sorry I'm trying to fix my schedule
