How much do permits cost? Is the place to purchase them always open during the day?

If the office isn't open go to the store next door . They told me the ranger will see you on the road you can pay him there That's what I did $35 a vehicle.

What do you think? Would I be able to drive my Ford Fusion down that road carefully?

Sidetrack Adventures made it in his Subaru Crosstrek. I wouldn't try it in a non-raised car but you don't need a full-fat off roader like the Cogbills' Jeep.
