Great video. One other build to your model that helps me - thinking about who would likely want to acquire your business on sale. Getting into what they would want to see, how it would fit into their portfolio, what consumer groups would your business add, what it adds to their overall brand, etc. etc. And if there is a long list of 'good fit' buyers then great. If not, what do you need to add to or tweak your proposition to make it more attractive?
Bingo! We have a mentor that's coaching us on exactly this, Tom interviewed him on the channel if you search for 'Mac' (I forget the title but it's from about 2 months ago).
If you grow in a smart way you can find a strategic buyer that will value your business on more than the P&L

This 'Noob' is excited as this video basically reconfirmed what I already believed, that Amazon FBA/E-commerce isn't the route to a quick buck. When I started my journey quite recently with the Honest FBA lads, I was already prepared to invest the time, effort and of course money to learn the skills required. What this video has done is broaden my horizons farther than just Amazon FBA. That said, the skills required to master Amazon are seemingly/obviously the skills required to expand outside of the Amazon eco-system. Inspirational video, give us more fella!

Another brilliant video Alex!! This top level approach is perfect to learn from. I hate the idea of being 'just another amazon seller' so this stuff is right up my street. Feel free to dive more into the traffic generating methods, would love to know if you could use billo to create some vid ads in combination with paid ads on social or do you need to contact influencers. But awesome stuff keep it coming 🙂

This is where people should START.... (seeing the big picture from the outset).
Its a bit like looking at the completed picture on the cover of a jigsaw box.... and then sifting through the pieces one by one, and painstakingly putting it all together, over what can feel like a tedious amount of time.
Seeing the big picture first is what helps you get that thing done.
Try doing a 1000 piece jigsaw, WITHOUT seeing the big picture first.... and there's a good chance you'll give up at some point before its finished.
(I'm no expert by the way.... i 've only just found the 'corners' on my FBA and Ecom puzzle... and I havn't even connected them up yet!)
that's a great way of putting it! And it's important to remember you complete a puzzle one piece at a time... sometimes the pieces are easy to place... others you need to look a little longer.
But gradually the picture starts to come together.

now when you say launching a product , is this essentially picking a product that is already selling and kind of putting your own spin onto it ? Like purchasing through manufacturer

Great video Alex. The only think worries me talking about consumable products there is PPC price. H10 shows that it is $2 - $4 per click. It seems it would be really hard to make profit with that cost. What is your opinion about that?
It's definitely what you need to consider but consumables is all about LTV not making money on the first sale. Imagine a customer buys from you every 2 months for 3 years (on subscription), it totally changes how you view the CPA (PPC costs in this case)
