I love Johnny and Mark's brotherhood bond. They're like a comfortable pillow when they're together even when Johnny is playfully giving Mark a hard time like older brothers do lol I saw some other comments recommending Johnny's JCC and I highly recommend that to Kerry and Simon. Mark and Johnny made the mini movie (not really a movie) Freaky Handshake, they made matching passport booklets together but I won't spoil what they both put on the back of their own booklets but it's really cute, and he and Mark spent a US Thanksgiving day walking around NY together but on JCC you get to see Johnny's relationship with Mark as well as with the other members. One JCC, they all visit Johnny's hometown in Chicago and his parents cook for them and then Johnny, Doyoung and Mark spend the rest of the night being funny and adorable together while Johnny takes them around his hometown a little. I just really miss JCC a lot. It provided a lot of comfort during Covid and that scary period. And yes, there may be a little bit of bias for my birthdate twin. Of course, I must mention Johnny and I were born the same day and year whenever possible 😂
I see Mark as a sponge ( in shows/variety), easily taking in others' comments and responding in a friendly way. I agree with what Simon said, he's very affable. Mark makes you feel good with his reactions. Lol. Johnny seems more mature, fitting for his age, and I love his dry humor-when he says something funny, he does it in such a serious, unbothered way. Like Johnny said, Haechan and him bring the humor, while Mark and Doyoung are great for reactions.
i totally recommend you guys reacting to doyoung's episodes on "i live alone"! it's a korean show that does like a "sneak peak" into artists that live alone daily life. it's so fun to watch, doyoung had three appearances until now and i'm not quite sure about it, but i think he was even one of the host of the show for another's artists videos too!!
You guys mentioned how down-to-earth the restaurant looked, and it is. The prices of the food are actually very normal. As the show went on, Doyoung and Haechan started choosing regular restaurants because the first couple of restaurants they featured were pretty expensive because those were the special restaurants the members loved to eat in during celebratory dinners. They wanted their fans to not be burdened by the price while they check out the restaurants and their recommendations from the menu.
Yeah, Johnny hasn't appeared much in shows outside of NCT before. But since last year, he's been on KoreanEnglishman, PSick Univ, Dive Studios (with Eric Nam), the cleaning show with Taeyong (I don't know the TH-cam name since it's in Korean), and a few others I can't remember because of the Korean titles.
the haechan and mark story will always crack me up. 😭 it’s been a huge thing amongst nctzens to want to know what exactly haechan was like as a trainee bcs mark has literally said he didn’t like haechan so much that he wanted to leave the company. 😂 imagine your first kiss being your bandmate lmaoo. and the fact that mark said “USUALLY” it wouldn’t happen around an adult, so his main reason for being mad wasn’t the kiss it was that an adult saw it. 😭 now they have one of the closests bonds in nct. haechan was a MENACE to society even then.
I always thought that phrase meant that Mark didn't expect to get ambushed when an adult was around so he was extra shocked. He hadn't been on his guard cause he thought he was safe ahahahahah The reactions that Haechan gets from Mark are a big part of what he can't resist I think. And he still loves to bother Mark so much, it's just that now they trust and understand each other (and aren't super irritating 12/13 year old boys anymore. Not always the easiest people to get along with ;)
I might be biased but this is probably my favourite MUK2U episode. It's obvious but their chemistry is top notch and I love how easygoing, natural and relaxed they all seemed. It's also the perfect dynamic with Haechan and Johnny being the funny guys, and Mark and Doyoung being the ones with the OTT reactions 😂 I think someone else has mentioned it but after the first few episodes, Doyoung and Haechan made a conscious decision to visit restaurants that aren't too fancy and more casual to make it more affordable if fans were to visit all the restaurants featured on the show. Also, they created a Google Map list of all of the restaurants they visit and add a tag and review, which is what Doyoung was typing out towards the end when you saw the map haha.
I loved this so much. I love when they tell stories about each other. Many people forget that 127 and Dream are 3rd gen groups so they've been together for such a long time and have experienced so much together. Doyoung stated Johnny was his soul mate and and don't get me started about Johnny and Mark's tight bond or I will be here for ages. Anyway they're all genuinely like real brothers and there's just something really special about 127's brotherhood, to me 😊
Yes I hope so much that they start watching JCC one day. I think they both would really enjoy it. My fave ep is when Mark and Ten appeared on there and the three of them made Christmas cookies. As someone who has enjoyed baking since I was a kid, I cringe so hard watching it but I love that ep so much lmao
I love the Beer Family! Really close to each other! They have gathered together (hang out) because they share the same personalities like drinking and how talkative they are. Doyoung and Mark I think they can deeply understand each other because they are kind of “F” person so when Doyoung said something about more feeling, Mark responded him so well. And this show Mark is the only one that Non-Stop eating from start till the end lol.
