Scared me even more because that just happened to my cat last night. She had a bad reaction to the anesthesia, she was under the effects for 10 hours. Whereas my dog was fine almost instantly.

봉지가 그 마취제랑 엄청 안맞았나보네요 보통 저렇게 쓰는 약은 엄청 메이저하게 쓰는 약일텐데ㅠ 그래도 이렇게 빠르게 조치를 해줘서 오히려 믿고 갈 수 있는 병원이라고 느끼셨을 것 같아요!
삶은계란 맞아요 ㅠㅠ 마취전문선생님도 계시고ㅠㅠ 해독제도 보유하고 계셔서 정말 다행 ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
에고,, 봉지가 저희 아가랑 같은 일을 겪었군요. 집사님 얼마나 마음졸이고 힘드셨을지 잘 이해되네요. 약 2년 전 쯤 저희 애기도 치아스케일링 전신마취 직후부터 약 2주간 하반신 마비처럼 뒷다리로 서지도, 걷지도 못했어요. 병원은 비상이 걸리고 저는 까마득한 지옥 한가운데 있는 느낌이었고.. 스테로이드 처방 등 모든 방법을 동원했고 다행히 애기가 건강히 일어났습니다만, 이 사건 이후로 생사를 오가는 불가피한 경우 외엔 애기를 전신마취 하지 않겠다고 다짐했지요..(치아관리도 열심히 하구요) 실제로 미용 목적의 전신마취를 했다가 고양이 별로 가는 아가들이 정말 많죠. 이 영상을 계기로 "우리 애기는 건강하니 괜찮을꺼다"라고 생각하는 분들이 적어졌으면 좋겠고, 그런 의미에서 이번 컨텐츠는 많은 분들에게 너무나도 도움이 될 것 같아요! 감사합니다!

Anesthesia is always worrying with pointed cats 😰, and then there’s this. So glad he received the care he needed
he didn't tho, he should have stayed at the vet until he was able to walk, ESPECIALLY if he suffered apnoea during anesthesia! the vets decision makes me incredibly mad

My kitty almost died from flea meds we got from the vet. I treat him regularly because he likes to go out and sunbathe. The vet recommended a new drop and I got it. Like two minutes after it was on him he starts to foam out the mouth and had a seizure. I cried I literally thought he died right there on the vets table. So glad your kitty is ok!!
I bet it was Hartz. Our current cat of 16 years was a stray. When we first got her, mom gave her a flea bath in Hartz and it nearly killed her. She still has nerve damage from it.

저희 두리가 병원에서 미용 땜에 전신마취로 쇼크사 했어요ㅜㅜㅜ벌써 10년이 다되어가네요ㅜㅜ같이 부부냥이였는데 지금15년째 같이 살고있는 암컷 공주는 하루아침에 신랑 잃고ㅠㅠ그때 충격은 아직도 잊지 못해요.제 손으로 마취동의서에 사인한 제자신이 넘 싫어서 한동안 동물병원 불신을...그때 부터 지금 까지 제가 집에서 공주를 미용 하고있는데 중성화시킬때 마취땜에 몇일 밤을 고민하다 했던기억이있네요.우리 두리가 보고싶네요.네 하얀 예쁜 냥이...ㅜㅜ
미용을 안하시면 안돼요..? ㅠㅠ 고양이는 굳이 미용이 안필요한걸로 알고있어서요...
sophie in 저희집 고양이도 꾸준히 미용시키고 있는데요, 장묘종이에요! 집에서 매일 빗질시켜주고 목욕도 가끔씩 시켜주는데.. 아이가 너무너무 예민해서 배쪽은 손도 못대게 해요ㅠㅠ 그래서 배쪽 털이 엄청 뭉치고 그루밍하는데도 힘들어하더라구요... 어쩔수없이 미용시키고있어요ㅠㅠ
저희는 병원에서 마취 테스트한담에 전신마취시켰던거같아여 ㅠㅠ
sophie in 장모종은 그루밍도 힘들어하고 몸이 더러워져도 깨끗이 하기 힘들어서 미용이 어느정도 필요하긴 해요. 그래서 무마취 미용하시는 분들도 있구요. 종마다 특성이 다른거니 굳이 미용이 필요하지 않다 이런 말씀은 안하셨으면... 댓쓴분이 죄책감 가지실까 걱정 되네요

Oh Mejoo, poor Bongji ... I used to work at a veterinary clinic for many years, and it's SO hard when an animal is in trouble when you are trying to help ... I am so relieved that Bongji made it; my heart goes out to you; how terrifying this must have been!!

I apologize for not understanding the language spoken and written, but where was the "almost died" part of this video?
Oh my god. Yes, if a vet clinic is giving anesthesia it is standard that they should have the antidote available. Even though it is very rare for a case like bonji to happen.
And what if there is no reversal agent for that particular drug?

I know.. an english comment but honestly, I just really wanted to thank you for sharing this video with your viewers. When i saw bonji unable to get up, i couldn’t help but start to tear up??? even though i knew that you guys know how to take care of your cats but i was instantly worried...
you guys are the best and ideal cat owners... thank you for taking care of bonji throughout that stressful moment. i knew that humans react to anesthia differently but i overlooked that cats could also react this way.

Poor Bongji ..! That must have been so scary, but you guys kept so calm. I would have cried my eyes out and panicked, but the vet knew what to do, and you both knew what to do. That vet deserves a best-vet-award, or something.. ❤❤ So amazing.. im happy Bongji is okay.
My siamese just had surgery and it also took him 3 days to recover from the anesthetic... except he's 17 years old! It scared me to death cos he wasn't eating or drinking but my vet reminded me that he's an old kitty and recovery will always be harder on them as they age.

Aww what a scary thought. 😭 I'm glad bongji is fine now. I've only seen two different cats wake up after anesthesia and they were no way near this impaired. Poor bongji.

My Siamese was named Nik and looked much like Bongji. He lived to be 19 years old. My oldest cat lived to be 23 - I hope you and your darlings have as much time or more together.

Title scared me. So painful to watch Bongjii struggle walking. How Bongjii loves you both by giving nudges while still dazed. I'm sure Bongjii was Glad that Soo was there to hold him during the visit. You both absolutely best parent Bongjii can ask for.
My point cat also had anesthesia for teeth cleaning and had 2 teeth removed. She isn't full Siamese as Bongjii but a snowshoe cat. She was super tired and didn't eat much for almost a week after her surgery. It really painful see your beloved cat suffer/not herself.

LOL Silly boy his anesthesia didn’t ware off yet and he’s trying to run! Also cats body temperature drop when is this state. It only lasts for 30 minutes so make sure to keep your cats warm everyone.

Thank goodness everything turned out alright. Siamese cats can live a very long time under good care. Mine lived to 21! I hope you get the same long life for your sweet cats.

I was scared by the title... my cat fell extremely sick when he was 16yrs old and never recovered. He passed away in the hospital. Watching your cats and your family and dad with them makes me feel close to them too. I’m supremely glad your Bongji is ok. Bongji is stay Strong! 💪🏻
