If you would, provide an update on how you like the system after a few weeks. I'd be interested in knowing. I've heard about some updating related issues, but it may be resolved with newer units. Looks damn good!
Man it’s pretty nice I’m new to androids so guess we both will see😂 but yeah even the setup in the back isn’t the same as all the videos on TH-cam also it came with the canbus stuff so maybe they updated the issues
Does this replace the factory radio is what I want to know ? I was quoted $2000 for a factory brand new Nissan radio and my shop would not install a used radio if I bought one . I seen the price of trex and I thought maybe I should go the trex route .
I just put one of these in my 2014. It is pretty sweet, especially with the 5G Microsim. The only issue I have is I don't think my subwoofer turned on and I can't get the internal ECUTek software to connect to my dongle. The bluetooth keeps trying to use the Android bluetooth connecter call carbit.
Only half my gauges work, the car I bought, came that way. My bad, should have checked to see. Now the guy ghosting me... anyhow... can't seem to get any resolution. So gonna go with a new Godzilla. - ANy advice before i do on how to update the firmware (for the existing T-REX) would be truly helpful.

@@bboichirok661 yes you remove all the bs from behind the dash. Can watch TH-cam , any apps. Has radio settings also
My stock headunit would shut off and say see dealer so I made this move instead
You can still see or use the gauges as on the original system?
No you can use the ecutek app that comes with the screen but I can’t get mine it sync

@@TexasTagz Let me know if you figure it out. I am getting a Microsim this week and see if maybe there is a software update.
@@themachanixgarage ima hit up the shop houston cause that’s who I bought it from
@@themachanixgarage they said most owners just plug the ECUtek into one of the usb ports that comes with trex
