Dear Mr. Moon, thank you for the wonderful webinars. They sure do help many of us who'd like to start composting.
I have several questions please as a first timer in this composting world,
    1. What are the things that might need to be adjusted or to be adapted to us who live in the tropical region of South East Asia which have long dry season and long raining season each for around 6 months with high humidity percentage?
    2. Should the piles need to be covered with waterproof or other permeable layers/fabrics to prevent rainwater to seep in during the raining season? Or does the 1 foot unscreened compost layer would be enough as a cover?
    3. What do we have to do to maintain 60-65% moisture and how much watering do we have to do? Does only monitoring temperature would be enough as a benchmark/signs of moisture levels or do we need to have special moisture monitoring device placed in different areas within the pile?
Thank you kindly for responding :)

Hi Peter, did you ever complete the other webinars? I can find number 2 on TH-cam but no more, perhaps they are hosted elsewhere?

Windrow turning disturbs the bacteria as well it’s like throwing the furniture inside your house and having to relay it
