Brazzaville woke to relative calm on Saturday (14/06) after
sporadic mortar and gunfire overnight, as efforts to bring peace
to the ravaged Congolese capital gathered pace.
On Friday the rival leaders' representatives had worked out a
seven-point plan which was awaiting approval by the main
protagonists.
