@Damia N don't know if I'm to late to the party but I've had my hellcat 29er for over 6 weeks and I frikkin love it bruv going to upgrade it slowly over time
@@lifeislavish hi ya mate how's it going you still enjoying your hellcat and answer your question I'll be starting at the front end working my way to the back end. Better forks are my first upgrade and seeing as my pal has already given a really nice set of rockshox for it tbh he paid more than I paid for my whole bike for them and a bit more on top and he's not even got a hours worth of riding time on them. It would make perfect sense for me to sell the rockshox and upgraded my whole bike but seeing he's one of my day one og mates I won't nd as he's fitting them for me tomorrow morning. I've been really lucky in the fact that it was a 29er build they are off. But yeah next will be stem, bars, gear and brake levers etc etc l. I'm using the hellcat as a platform for putting high spec gear/groupset, wheels and rest of it. Then I'll buy a really nice hardtail frame and put all the nice kit on to that. I'll send you a picture of before and after the fork install and keep you updated on the rest of it as I'm hoping to have it done before next summer. 💯💯😁😁😁😎😎😎👍
Just bought one of these for my daughter. Looks to be great intro to mountain biking. Paid £360 from Halfords, great bike for the money. Like all Carreras.
Hey buddy. Thanks for your comment. As far as I'm aware the women's one come with a bigger saddle, and the frame is slightly different with different sizing. But everything else is the same. And your right the purple is a better looking bike. Cheers for watching gav 🤙
If you order it sent to your house in a box you can spray it uniquely, then take it to the shop to be put together. Not sure if that would affect the warranty tho! Good for making it easy to find, the original black means other road users might not see you as easily. There is a slight difference in the frame geometry if you compare the male and female, best to input your measurements into the size guide
Ordered one yesterday (collecting it next Saturday) looking forward to it.

Really good entry level bike, you can't do much better for the money. She will love it.🤙
I've had mine for nearly 15 months can't fault it.
Is there anything that you had to get changed or anything that you had to get extra?
Hi .. upgrade the forks to air, if you can get hold of any. . Cheers for watching.. gav
@@Kubafits no nothing extra, I recently had to get my gears adjusted and bearings fixed for my breaks.
@@Abdullah-zr7mw ok thank you

Are you two together? And why did you name it 'swallow woods'?

Rip off imo
It's so dumb that the purple one is said to be women's? There's no difference and the matt purple looks cooler imo. So stupid
