Great video! Some notes: The Zohar was written by Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai in the 2nd century CE, who is mentioned throughout the Talmud. I also highly recommend anyone interested in Kabbalah to learn it from the books of Aryeh Kaplan. He makes Kabbalah practical and understandable to modern readers.

Thank you for such a great explanation and making the beauty of Jewish tradition more accessible. I've also recently started to study Kabbalah. Rabbi Mannis Friedman, Kabbalahinfo and spiritgrow among other TH-cam channels also have a lot of great explanations. Also studying the Chumash has been so insightful recently. It seems that Covid has helped us slow down reconnect with what's important.

Shalom Marion! I loved this video so much! It would have been very helpful to me a few years ago 😂 I am positive that it is going to help many people, as you have a very sweet and sincere way of expressing things!
Coming from a non Jewish background and all, when I first learned of Kabbalah, I was under the impression that it was in the realm of witchcraft 😅 (due to some of those non Jewish sources you mentioned) and even when I first became a Jewish believer I told myself that I would stay away from it until I had a better understanding of what it was.
I have certainly not studied the ten sefirot yet, but I can now say that I have loved any kabbalistic teachings that I have happened upon in my Jewish learning journey, as they seem to really help me comprehend the metaphysical aspect of some of the things we do as Jews that we can't otherwise understand OR, it helps cement a deeper understanding of the metaphysical aspects of the Torah and helps me relate to them more personally, and be more able to recall them more easily. Does that make sense?! 😂 🤣
I thought it was very cool when I had first learned that the word kabbalah meant tradition!
    Gut Shabbos!

I am rediscovering my roots in Judaism and have really enjoyed your videos. I was never brought up with a faith, since my family is rather blended in that regard (my paternal grandmother is Jewish, though not practicing) but have always been interested in world religions and spirituality. You touched on the 10 spheres in this video, which reminded me of Gnostic myth about G-d. The Gnostics believed G-d (the Invisible Spirit, akin to an intelligence) was a combination of aeons or aspects (types of intelligence or thoughts). There are 5 pairs of aeons (pairs to represent the duality of masculine/feminine), thus equaling 10. As commented below, the Zohar was written in the 2nd century, the same time the Gnostics were prevalent in the world. I'm curious to read more about Kaballah to see if there is some connection. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts on this subject & piquing my interest to learn more. :)

what does the word 'Bride' in the bible means?😊

  • @SnazzyButterfly
    @SnazzyButterfly ปีที่แล้ว

Just a basic understanding between the differences between the Kabbalah spellings:
Kabbalah with a K: Jewish Mysticism, this came first
Cabalah with a C: Christian Cabala, this came second. As the name suggests this is the Christian version of Cabalah taking from both the new and old testaments of the Christian tradition.
Qabalah with a Q: Hermetic Qabalah. This borrows from many traditions (Jewish, Egyptian, and Astrology). This is the most recent type of Qabalah and has the most easily available information.

I'm only familiar with how things are done in the US where at least in theory houses of worship are open to the public and all comers... mostly. I'm not sure if all houses of worship do that or not. But, people can and do convert to Judaism. It's quite a process though if I understand correctly.

I’ve heard the word ‘cabal’ comes from Kabbalah; I don’t know much about Kabbalah but I feel uneasy about it when I hear this. Can you please speak into this and assure many people like me who would want to assume the best, but don’t know a lot about it? Genuine question, but do people go to Kabbalah in order to get involved in elite circles? ⭕️ Thanks

Sounds a lot more in line with Eastern philosophy such as Buddhism or Hinduism. These are, I believe, much healthier and often complimentary views of reality. Not to say that there aren't altruistic aspects of Christianity / Islam etc. that are good, but adherents of those religions also have a tendency to get out of hand with their prejudices (which is a shame because I think most religions ultimately have similar messages at their core - love, respect, peace)

Others Rabbis will tell you the same thing that it could cause your faith in God to fade and doubt God. I say just be careful when getting into this. I stopped because I really feel Hashem saying no.

I have picked up Kabbalistic ideas through both Judaism and occult/New Age teachings. I have concluded Kabbalah is a universal philosophy and Judaism does not have a monopoly on this.

    לב 32 22 letters 10 sefirot
ללב 62 this is due to the frequency of Judaism being 620 peace also because of the amount of number of small Stars 2 big stars and 6 little ones
    מלב from the heart 72
This because of the 72 names for god in Hebrew and Kabbalah has a frequency of 720 enlightenment as well.
בלב נפש in this soul is the heart
The word for soul is numerical value 430 and in the heart 34.
    דמת DMT 444 angel number
This proves the spiritual molecule in the pineal gland in its relationship to Judaism and Kabbalah and also to our own human identity to god through DMT דמת

I'm a kabbalist of 13 years, nobody is to start with kabbala until the age of 40, I asked my rabbi when to start this what he said so I waited, your too young to touch this practice and there's good reason for waiting until the age of 40. It will not work for anyone along as there too young, it's explicitly warned by rabbis should not tou h it .

How can you call those spiritual practices GOOD? I live next to several neighbors that are SPIRITUAL PEOPLE that practice KABBALA. They use those SPIRITUAL abilities to do what they call REMOTE WITNESSESING of people committing crimes in the area. I Gabriel have NEVER BY FORCE BROKEN IN TO SOMEONES HOUSE TO RIP THEM OFF OF ANYTHING. Yet the neighbors that are Kabbalists have been blameing I GABRIEL for doing those crimes. They have been attacking me through SPIRITUAL MEANS for YEARS now. I KEEP HEARING in my mind TELEPATHICALLY via SPIRITUAL MEANS them trying to FORCE me to admitt to the crimes. This KABBALAHS teaching in the hands OF NUTT JOBS like those neighbors does MORE DAMAGE to INNOCENT PEOPLE THAN GOOD!!
