KC's biggest draw in back in da hiz-house! already got my bottle of red wine ready for this one. Watching this it's easy to see why Eddie Graham students Dusty Rhodes & Kevin Sullivan spoke/speak highly of Kevin Nash's booking acumen. Not only one of best performers in the history of the business but also one of the greatest minds.
I remember the infamous "Fingerpoke of Doom" angle. Then I remember thinking to myself "What the hell just happened?" Then I burst out laughing, because I knew they did it for controversy and to troll the entire arena and fanbase...
If the big jump doesn't happen, that means the MSG Incident doesn't happen and Austin doesn't get booked to win King of the Ring, do the 3:16 promo, and become the biggest thing in wrestling....
The king of the ring honestly didn't do much for Austin at the time, that is a false narrative to be honest, he hardly got any heat from KOTR 96 and didn't start getting heat until 3-4 months later.
I'd like to see Scott Hall, and not Nash, do one of these. Hall always had a eye for talent, a phenomenal understanding of psychology, and knew how to get over as a character.
I Agree. Get Guys Like Hall, Barry Windham (Who Was an Interim Booker Between Ole Leaving & Dusty Returning in 1991), & Dean Malenko - Amongst Others - to Do These "Guest Bookers" for Their Insights into Various Stuff in Wrestling History
If I said it once, I've probably said it a million times by now (unrelated) Kevin Nash has THE BEST genetics I've ever seen....the guy is 57 years old and he HASN'T AGED A BIT IN THE FACE!!!! (besides the grey hair) he looks just as young now as he did back in early 2000
It's not arguable at all. Taker is by far the best big man of all time, by an absolutely landslide. Can you see Kevin Nash working those 4-5 star matches with HBK, HHH and CM Punk at Wrestlemania? Yeah me neither.
Do y'all have shoot beef with the concept of basic white balancing? The extreme reds in this video, Nash's hair in particular, make it look like it was filmed next to a Kenny Rogers Roasters sign. If you took the roughly 15.6 seconds to point sample a hard black (like the piping on Nash's top) and a hard white (like the white board or the papers) in Premiere, your videos would look 10000x better and be a lot easier to justify spending money on.
I always found it incredibly ironic that Nash started the "vanilla midget" garbage despite being good friends with HBK and X-Pac (neither of which were ever six feet tall or 200 pounds).
Shawn had charisma and could outperform, not out wrestle, but could outperform every single one of those guys in his prime. X-Pac was not a technician but was good at getting the heat on the heels because he lookd like a kid. The term "vanilla midget" went to guys like Benoit, Malenko and early Eddie Guerrero. In other words, they were guys who could wrestle but had 0 mic' skills and 0 charisma. All of their focus went into their wrestling and nothing else. Bret and Shawn weren't strong promo cutters either but they were better than early Eddie, Benoit and Malenko on the mic'.
it's the other way around bro Pac could out wrestle the Roster he just wasn't at the stage to cut promos his first Run. According to Nash and Hall, Vince liked Pac because he was a disciplined Lightweight/Cruiserweight guy who could do most of the Highflyer stuff without leaving the ring or always going to the top rope.
Tucker Batson I never said he was bad. I grew up watching Pac as the 1 2 3 Kid. Me saying that he wasn't a technician is not an insult nor does it mean he was a terrible worker. Bret Hart, Kurt Angle and Billy Robinson were technicians. Pac wasn't but he was good that's why Hall knew it was a good idea for Pac to go over on him as the 1 2 3 Kid and he was right.
Shawn actually was over 6 feet and over 200lbs he just so happened to be starting in the dinosaur era where everybody was a roided giant over 6'5. When Nash talks about vanilla midgets, he's talking about guy's that are under 5'8 and have zero charisma.
Kevin Nash is always one of the more interesting people to listen to in these types of interviews, but this guy couldn't wrestle or book an event to save his life. Ten hours would be a lot to write in one week, but had WCW gotten their shit together and organized a few different booking teams (consisting of people who were actually interested in doing their job, not people like Nash and Dusty Rhodes who obviously didn't care), it couldn't have been that difficult. There should NEVER be a time when it's 3 minutes to bell time and a finish still isn't written -- that is ridiculous, especially for a multi-million dollar company like WCW, and goes to show just how little they cared about the company and how little respect they had for their fellow employees. I was an ignorant teenager during the end of WCWs existence, and even I couldn't believe how badly they were screwing up, and how easy it would have been (with the talent they had under contract and the Turner checkbook) to at least match ratings with the WWF; who also had an unbelievably bad product.
On may 27th & June 6th 1996 Scott Hall & Kevin Nash Killed the wwf by going to WCW that's when thay became Superstars with NWO. Took wwf 3- years to rebound Vince was shitting his pants knowing all the his top wrestlers were jumping ship to WCW! Today WWE Wrestling is shit garbage, Give them wwe afew more years thay'll be out of business for sure. I really miss WCW Monday Nitro...
Nash says the term "vanilla midget" is basically just trolling people... but some people have accepted that term and uses it seriously. I just really hate it because it's really insulting.
How is it insulting? Little men do not draw money, Even Michaels and Bret Hart would be considered somewhat big nowadays. Big men are big draws, no one surfing channels saw Daniel Bryan and says "Holy shit look at this monster lets see what this guy is doing"
Sean: "You know, you're the weakest one up there."
Nash: "I don't give a fuck, I'm bookin'. I can be hot in a week."
"Can you judge wine and not make wine?" -- very nice Sean... very nice.

One of the greatest backstage politicians in wrestling history.
“What could Warrior have done this time”??
“Shake the ropes”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
remember american wrestling is just about booking, japanese wrestling is about creating.
Jap wrestling sucks
Nash with the "Return to Oz" look.
what could Warrior could of done? "Shake the Ropes"
“Doesn’t work for me, brother” lol

jack frost But the merchandizing it created was bananas.
Austin would have been Austin without the 3:16 IMO

For Example, BW Re-Books WCW Early 1990s
Who has done more variations of shoot interviews than Kevin Nash?
Raven
The Grappler 6 Cornette. He can't wait to rant.

as if looks mean great genetics. Kevin is on record saying his body is completely haggered at his current age.
He can still take 10 women from a strip bar today
Yup. That's why women call him Big Sexy lol
HGH. Nothing wrong with that by the way. His body, his choices.
He looked like shit in TNA.
However you feel about Kev, he always has some of the best shoots.
"I'll be hot in a week" XD.
raven guest booker was a million times better
Average carpentry skills
Gold!!!!:)
😂
nash is still jacked. arguably the best big man of all time
until he tears his quads
hahahahahahahahahaa
Id give Taker the title of best big man of all time.
It's not arguable at all. Taker is by far the best big man of all time,
by an absolutely landslide. Can you see Kevin Nash working those

Kane is way ahead of him
lol that's why he booked himself to beat goldberg's streak
Soy Sauce
I love the Finger Poke of Doom!!! nWo 4 Life
Do another one but with Nash booking Starcade 1997 to 01/04/99. Hall and Nash vs macho and Hogan would have been epic
Doesn't work for me brother
Love Kevin, funny as hell, but as a booker he was the shits.
Previously: Nash calls out Matt Borne for what he's wearing when Borne is blasting Nash.
Upcoming KC release: What is Nash wearing? o_O
The idea of having the Steiners and Nash/Hall in court with CNN reporting would have actually been very cool
Nice of Nash to turn up in his Oz gimmick
he almost did with that shirt.

Yeah maybe Nash could have explained the art of booking through the medium of interpretative dance as well. Oh no wait we're buying the audio, mark.

You need to go back and watch some 1-2-3 Kid and Syxx matches.... dude was incredible in the ring. Just couldn't talk for shit.
it's the other way around bro Pac could out wrestle the Roster he just wasn't at the stage to cut promos his first Run. What are the five angles?
So does Nash like live with you at this point?
lmao for real dude he did so many shoots with him already its been so many times that nash recycle the same storys.. the fuck
What could warrior have done at this time? Shake the ropes.

That criminal case Steiner thing would've shit the bed huge. An nWo evidence clerk? Really?
The bad ass Steiners pressing charges. Um ok
im going to have to agree. I'm a huge Nash, NWO, WCW, fan but that idea wouldn't have worked at all.
It's Wrestling. We would have MARKED THE FUCK OUT lol
I can't see Steiner as a victim in any sense of the word. He would get no "simpy" for me.
"I don't give a fuck. I'm bookin'. I can be fuckin' hot in a week."
A week later... tears quad.
Guest booker with virgil aka curly bill
Wearing the OZ colors
Does this guy not run out of stories?
Even Kevin Nash could make that ugly shirt look cool!
Bad Ass Steiners calling the police and going to court. Oh ok
what's the red light all about?
Are they both drunk?
Always thought Hall would have been a great WWF champ if he never went to WCW.
@@LiquidSwordsman699 Hall was never world champion in wwf 5 time I.C champ but never got the big one
@@LiquidSwordsman699 😂😂😂 are you the iron Sheik?
Shakin the ropes.
Nash books Nash & Hall 5:20
He sounds like Donald Sutherland.
FUCK....I'm the boss...let's put everyone over me first....

i absolutely love and respect Nash but this whole booker stuff is silly...Nash with the book was just silly

That finger poke of doom was the weakest shit I've ever seen
but when Michaels and HHH did it no one gave a shit
That made more sense. Shawn just won the world title while still being the euro champ. so he figured, he'll just let his boy HHH have it. Why not?
and Nash let his boy Hogan have the strap as a show of alliance when the wolfpac remerged with the black and white
Because it was the European title as opposed to the World title.
he is really on drugs i know cause im a scientist and thats my job when he open his mouth and talk he is tired he is sick for sure
how many people tuned to this video because they thought Booker T and Kevin Nash were going to be on this video? This wasn't a good title for video.
Just you
Lame!
