I love Ubud sooo much. They’re really struggling in Bali now because of COVID.😢 I’m so grateful I managed a visit at the beginning of the year, before the whole COVID pandemic hit and Australia went into lockdown. Can’t wait to get back there ❤️

I was there for 10 days July 2019.
It was such a magical place.
I stayed in Jimbaran Beach.
The highlight of my trip was watching the sunrise at Lempuyang Temple...wow it was breathtaking.

Maybe watch for Gecko Lizard or Snake in the bathroom,,,some Resorts have outdoor shower and bath hee hee.

Can you explain why u had to get the air bnb compared to just stayin in the villa overall? also u mentioned you wanted to change your room, how do air bnb s work there? cause i thought typically u pay for one room and that’s it , there’s no switching. Also, u said it’s not best to use the water to wash ur face brush ur teeth..etc what happens when showering? wouldn’t it be the same water? sorry for all the questions ! lol

My driver’s name in Bali was Komang too. I think that’s a common name because I also met another Komang while there. When I travel to tropical places, I bring a citronella candle for my room. I also slather my body with oil that contains citronella because I can’t with them bugs.
I had a bad experience where I had to stay at a hotel that had a mosquito infestation in the rooms. My whole was bitten even though I slept in my clothes and under the covers.

Is the water okay to shower with since it's not good to drink or use on your face?

Bali and the rest of Indonesia's water are totally safe for shower,wash your face or even brush your teeth.
We use our water for our daily life necessities.
We have water service run by government so don't you worry about water,just enjoy Bali without worrying about water.😉

Im from Europe, and I spend every year few month on Bali. Alyaws wash my teath, face and take a shower with water from a pipe. Newer been sich. More probably you been sich because of food.
Ok homegal, I'm a Fan of your channel. Thank you for what you do. Please keep it coming...I was in Bali as well(July4-Aug8/2019 with my partner). We will Return after Covid 2021 hopefully.

just a suggestion, try to buy an insect repellent, many are sold in small shops, and very cheap, brands such as autan, soffel, etc ... soffel is a recommendation because it is lighter does not make burn sensation on the skin,..even I, who live in Indonesia, always have insect repellent on hand 🙈#imho

when u said daddy long legs i just about died. i was hoping u ain’t say no spiders. lol i sometimes forget about the bug aspect when traveling to different countries, but like u said sometimes you have to just accept it and bask in the moment that you’re out of the country experiencing new things. BTW u and your friend look like y’all could be sisters. i would love to know their experience while living in Bali.

How did you get into bali? Did you use a business visa? How was it? Was it worth the money?
Use olive oil like herborist brand in alfamart or indomart . use for whole body and the mosquitos won't bites you
