Best video ever! I enjoyed every second of it. Its not about the instrument, it is about who is playing and how it is being played. Can't keep calm waiting for my ordered ct cs500
Guys, that was a terrific demonstration of the versatility, sound quality and capability of both of those keyboards not to mention your keyboard chops! You should do more of these!
I enjoy watching both of these guys do their key reviews separately. Bringing them together was really great - a stroke of genius. Hope they enjoyed it as much as I did. Thanks!
If you are looking for a good digital sound of the 80's & 90's, then these are your choice. Yes, of course it can do a lot more. A lot more. Kinda vintage but still has that modern vibe. I ordered my unit today, with the "vocoder". If you are a fan of the 80's Casio synthesizers, then you will need to have this, with or without the "vocoder". These are not toys anymore, i can tell you that. The 80's were superb and Casio was strong back then with the CZ and VZ series. Then the 90's came and that was a sad time for Casio. In year 2022 i can only say that Casio has returned to their glory days. They are doing strong. Nice.
I own the CT-S500, it's so good. So easy to use, it feels good. It sounds good. It's deep, but you can ignore the deep if you want and just play. Owned some roland Junos and casio PX5s, and this honestly is perfect. SImple, but it you can be create with it and make the sounds you want too. Love the sampling. Use it with the OP-1 and micro freak in the audio line it and out the very nice speakers. Totally happy! I do wish it had a midi 5 pin out, that would be super nice.
Do you know if the midi via the usb port supports touch sensitivity, transpose ? I own a lks 250 - the midi touch /velocity sensitivity is not supported and even the transpose for keys wont work on midi .
The CT-S500 is the one I want, I think the vocoder features on the 1000v are a bit of a gimmick and a distraction for someone like me who wants this to learn to play on. Was about to bite the bullet on the CT-S400 and then this is announced with customizable DSP per tone and proper knobs to adjust it with. Happy days. Also, I believe that this series has the unique tones from the CT-S1 as well so that gets rid of any buyers remorse I might have had about choosing the CT-S400 over the CT-S1.
Hmm, it's everything good about the CT-S1 + more stuff... or are there any trade offs? Wonder if it's the same key bed etc. In about to buy one for my little boy and don't mind spluring. The LOOG caught my eye but it's not out til March
Hi Julian. A Casio keyboard also changed my life. I was in the US Army Signal Corps in 1981 when an officer heard me playing my brand new Casiotone MT-30. Two weeks later I was the Keyboardist for the US Army Band, and 18 months later, Keyboardist for The US Army Rock Band. The rest of my life started with the purchase of that MT-30. -_Daniel_
Wow. Amazing skills make for an outstanding video! Great improvisation...and I could see you two enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed watching and hearing you play!
I really enjoyed your session and the keyboards are nice. I own now the S1000V and I really like it. The sounds are so good and I like the DSP function. This keyboard offers so many options how you can change the sounds.
Thank you MAESTROS for sharing such a fantastic performance and for showing us the fetures and capabilities of these interesting instruments ! Blessings and greetings from USA !
OMG! This jamming was absolutely amazing. I would like to have at least 1/4 of your skills and feeling guys! Since I can't have that right away I will start getting the CASIO CT-S500 for myself 😁
Do these Casios have the Ct-S1’s Tape Flute sound that everyone loves so much? I really would love to get one of these models but if they left that off, that would be a missed opportunity!
Great demo. But I think you guys would also let an old Bontempi keyboard sound awesome... 😉 I would be interested in a more detailed demo covering the rhythms/styles of the CT-S500. Kind regards from Munich (Germany).
These look incredible! I own a Casio CT-X5000 which is a monstrosity of a keyboard & I absolutely love it. I just wonder how these compare with other arranger keyboards like the CT-X700 by Casio.
This is a very awesome engaging video. Fun to watch. These new casios are a major step up, I'm happy to have another pro audio competitor in the mix with a different sound. I would like to see the actual specs though
Hi ET2. I think Sweetwater should let you guys go 100% with the busker esthetics of these keyboards and let you enable digital tipping on this video 💰🎹🎶. Wesley Willis would be proud! "Rock over London, Rock on Chicago!" "Rock and Roll McDonald's!!"
Every time I see Dan jazz out a rhythm, I think this thing needs some kind of looper, or worse, a sequencer that analyzes your loop and turns it into an accompaniment style with auto-generated fills and such. Maybe in 2030. Til then you have to hire Dan (or use what Casio programmed. You can't program your own patterns with this one, right?)
Does it also receive midi? I have an Alesis Vortex 2 Keytar and need to connect it to a DAW or synthesizer to produce sound. If I connect my keytar to the Casio CT-S, will I be able to produce sounds with my keytar through the Casio?
Hi Velovoiture. I can't say 100% because I no longer have both keyboards handy but... If they could connect, it would be via Bluetooth MIDI using the WU-BT10 Bluetooth adapter that's included with both of those Casiotone keyboards. -_Daniel_
hello, i have a problem with saving direct to registration bank on usb flash card... only the chosen registration bank text is saving but not the content of the chosen registration I did mount the usb first and than format in the casio... and used severall usb sticks what could be the problem? and how can i reset the casio in the factory setting?
Thanks for checking out these powerfully packed arranger keyboards with us! Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more!

Just got my CT-S500 this past week. This board can pack a serious punch! Really looking forward to jamming hard with this thing. Thanks, Sweetwater!
That jam on "i get high" was a gem!
These are the coolest keyboards ever great job Casio!!!😃
Perhaps this is the most fun you both had, these keyboards look super fun to play on!

I love these demo jams, I'm absolutely amazed by the playing and flexibility of these keyboards
05:00 Jacob you rock every synth/piano mannnn amazing stuff going on right here

What do you mean by "sampling" ? Can this keyboard also be a sampler, or do you just mean the samples for piano, strings, brass, etc. ?
@@danmantyla3315 Yeah, it has a pretty nice sampler via the audio input.
Do you know if the midi via the usb port supports touch sensitivity, transpose ? I own a lks 250 - the midi touch /velocity sensitivity is not supported and even the transpose for keys wont work on midi .
It is class colpliant so if needed you could connect a usb to din midi device ( like kenton)

You guys absolutely killed it. I ordered my s1000v and am pumped to see what else this thing can do! Great jam session!
My first keyboard was a 1995 Casio CTK-50 keyboard. I was 9 years old and It changed my life. I'll always have love for Casio.

Beautiful sounds and samples,great musicians
Forget the DAW, I'll just have you two over, ha ha. Thanks for the duo demo.
Great Jam with a very versatile instrument . I may add that you can sample wave files into this thing as well.
Moral of the story: Learn to play well. The instrument doesn't matter much 😋
Did you even listen to this??? Sounds very.. not good.
100% this. Always this.
In a few words, INCREDIBLE!
wow great jam, these guys have great skill, made me check out the keyboards
Skills, skills and skills:)! Nice jams! I love what you do! Thank you!
The voice capabilities raised the bar.
You guys look like you were having so much fun! It's nice to see arranger keyboards getting some attention🎹🤟
Very cool! Would love to hear some more of the lead / bass synth and keyboard / organ sounds.
Loved the honky-tonk piano. Fab demo!
Really enjoyed watching you both play. And hardware is good. Ordering! Incredible!
Fabulous! I could listen to you guys for hours. Thanks for the great jam session. The CT-S500 is enticing with all it's features.
Excellent demo! Definitely ordering one ct1000 v
The lyrics mode alone made it worth it for me. Totally will use it with the band

Looks like Casio took their CTX5000 simplified the interface and on the CTS1000v added two heaping cups of fun😁😁Great lil jam guys
Minute 9:10 beautiful😍.thanks for this video 🙏👍😃👍

This seems to have the CT-S1 sounds included plus dozens more. Is that a fair assessment? They both the AIR sound engine.
Thank-you for that lovely demo Dan & Jacob. Now can I please ask if it has a 'Sequencer' & an Audio Interface (both built-in the synth)?

Realy nice demonostration. Thanks 🌻
love the led zeppelin on the casio!
you had me at buttons on the back for a strap to make it a keytar. take my money
Me thinks these keyboards are going to sell like hot cakes. For the asking price, these will be irresistible for many. Hats off, Casio
I'm just waiting for the CT-S500's price. If Casio puts* a good price, I'll replace my CT-X800 with it. I want the L/R outputs, I need them!
