Hilason Treeless Western Saddle trial - Riding Exercises to establish a better seat

So After my first ride in the treeless I've made some adjustments. I've added a breast collar and I'm wearing chaps to even out the gap in the stirrup fenders.
It's a completely different feeling saddle so I've got to get my seat centered.

Really appreciate your reviews. Getting a used one for 200 to try on my Paso Fino gelding. We shall see, hoping it works. I may put a grippy pad on the seat.

I've heard a lot of people say its like a bareback pad but with the security of a western saddle

That's pretty accurate. The cantle and pummel are straight up and there isn't any padding. It takes a little to get used to, but if you have a balanced seat you can adapt. I found the Bob Marshall version of treeless much more comfortable than the cheaper Hillison.

It's decent quality.
Works well on hard to fit horses.

That saddle is too big for you, stirrups r too long and I like the stirrup straps, not the bulky leather fenders better.
