    IMO this is how makeup should be done. Maintain the canvas with skin care and simply enhance it with kisses of color like you have here. Stunning results ❤

    I love this look, when you finish Bella before blush, you look younger, plumper, and sun kissed. Better than the French looks. That is freaking amazing. 💚💚💚💚

    Michelle, this method took at least 15 years off your face and was drastically noticeable without the left side done. It is beautiful and I can’t wait to use this method tomorrow! Your skin is definitely juicy!

    I just tried this method today and LOVE the way it just gives a beautiful polished look to my skin. I’m 62 yrs old. Oh my goodness, I barely needed to color correct anything other than a couple of sunspots and a small vein. the other distractions weren’t really distracting anymore. I can’t believe how well this works. I added some Demi as blush and did nv1 under the lower lashes and will definitely be doing this again tomorrow. We learn so much from you, thank you Michelle and Cara.

    Really interesting take on contrast/color theory. It makes sense to me, especially being in the mature bracket, since too light a product can emphasize texture and it's hard to keep "light" from migrating out of valleys and getting on the very peaks you are trying to de-emphasize. I will definitely try experimenting with it this weekend. You look fabulous.

    Ok, this does take time because you’re experimenting on what works best on *your* skin. Michelle just gives you an outline. You must make makeup ‘playtime’! When you figure out ‘perfection’ on your own time, you can whip it up when you’re on a schedule.
    It takes time because it’s nothing you’ve ever used before. I love Seint. It’s been a total game-changer for me. And Michelle is the best, full stop.

    Hello Michelle! I love your new lashes! what size did you take? looking forward to a video about it! 🥰 About the cara's method, i don't know what to think... of course it looks pretty, but in the end, if we "cancel" le lights points of our face + put bella on where we usually put it, we are covering almost all the face and just cancelling our 3D don't you think? ... and the other problem is that we end with the face darker than the rest of our body (even if it gives a pretty summer look with a kind of tanned face) so we'll have to make up the neck + décolleté too to balance i... so i don't know... 🤔

  • @blondiegurl8348
    @blondiegurl8348 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    I’ve been doing this “Cara undereye” added to my demi for almost a month and a half now. It’s been amazing. And yeah like anything, it seems like it’s going to take forever but it’s just the learning curve. I’m 55 and have darker under eyes than you and find that using smaller brushes is key. That way you can only target the light points and don’t overlap any of the shadow or darker points with your bella or NR or NV+1. Also doing all the “toning” and blush prior to the eyes and nose really helps. But the time I get to my eyes and use the warm up color all my distractions are less noticeable.

    Hi is Seint Bronzer’s transparent as the Demi colors all over the face? I’m asking because when I use NO or NO+ or NR or NY no one can see any make-up just my skin but when I use Bronzers people definitely see that I have make-up…maybe because the Bronzer’s are like 70% on my face than being transparent like Demi colors even when I use a very light hand, Cara does use just the Demi in her last video she did on Demi on whole face and when I use my Demi on my face no one can see it even my eye surgeon who has the 50x strength lenses say I have beautiful skin. I just use what Cara does mostly all the time so I didn’t know if you can clear that up for me.
    I really appreciate that since your a professional MUA Thank You Julie 😻

  • @hawkberry
    @hawkberry ปีที่แล้ว

    Damn, girl, you look amazing! Even with your hair in rollers!! I mean you normally look great when you do your other Demi/WTF foundation videos, but i think the combo of not having anything under your makeup to start with lets your beautiful glow show through!!! It actually made you look younger. I don’t think my eyes are deceiving me. Warming up the under eye areas make you look like you went for an afternoon at the beach. The only 2 things I would say are slight negatives (and that is in the eye of the beholder) are that the shadow under you lip once you applied it instantly plumped your lip and in my honest opinion (not meant as a slight toward anyone who likes the look) but it ages everyone who does it. Take a screenshot of just before you do it and just after. Also, I have the same type of creases on the sides of my lips and you did 2 different techniques where you covered the one on the left (screen left) with the bronzer and it made it more obvious whereas when you did the other half of your face off camera, you must have avoided it and it is much less noticeable (You talk about avoiding that area in your other videos and this is a textbook example on each side of your face). I am sure that is just a subtle technique, but it is worth noting. If you could do this whole look again with a before and after photo, that would be amazing. I think you are really on to something here, this is my kind of sheer makeup where you can still see the real you, only better. BTW, i need a ton of help in the brow and lash area and having you start with literally nothing on your face and doing the brows and lashes in real time would be awesome if you are into it. Thanks for taking the time do these experiments and take us along for the ride. (As an aside, this whole color correcting thing has gotten me thinking about using it on the spider veins on my legs in summer that really make me self-conscious…..can Seint develop a product for that? Or maybe just use the giant brush and a bigger pan size…..)

  • @iamneverwrong1

    Really need advice here on how to proceed with Demi.
    I’m so confused with the way that Seint as a company are handling Demi both in the marketing and products themselves.
    First for the products - I invested heavily when it first came out and I could never get it to work due to the dry and pasty texture of the products. Are they reformulating it? Even when I got the new tins the beeswax was all beaded in the surface and the product itself was very dry and clay like-
    I took pics and sent them to their customer service and they said it was a bad lot and the beeswax was off and then they sent me new tins but the same thing happened.
    I know that Of course I can use a blow dryer to warm them and make them “useable” but I really despise that idea of doing it for a new product if that makes sense.
    Cars has new videos on her TH-cam in this method like you are doing here- and I’m just wondering if she is planning on revamping the entire Demi system itself to make it more “marketable” to us the customers? I remember two years ago when it came out it was very hyped on the Seint website but now it looks like it’s being discontinued because all of it is discounted.
    I love the idea but am basically scared to reinvest. What are your thoughts?

    I can actually take a darker foundation than I probably would match too but love the depth it gives. You have pigment in your eyes so works for you too.

    I've been trying this method... It's ok but my biggest problem with it is it's too dark and too warm. I'm a spring so I can handle a lot of warmth. It's too dark tho and taking out all the lighter areas on my face doesn't match well with my neck and chest. I do appreciate what this look is trying to do and I like how adding dark helps for ex the undereye area. But it overall looks too unnatural for me. Also, I love Demi but I struggle using it all over my face bc of how waxy and sheer it is. I lean oily so something like Bella looks better. But Demi is still a superstar for me for certain areas in my face. For blush I prefer to texture of the lip and cheeks.

    Hi again! just a little feedback on this technique that I just tried on myself...and it's a failure! lol

Also, what did you put on your lips first liner and what pink color is all over lips? You are beautiful no matter what. This bronzer all over you feels summer to me but that’s ok. Looks gorgeous!
